Just need some advice ladies! I have been thinking of doing a gift registry for my son's christening in June. Do you think this is ok, or do people find that pushy or something? Not sure, please let me know what you think!!:)

Tricky question! Follow your instinct here. If you feel this is what you want to do, then go for it. If you feel a bit uncomfortable, maybe rethink.
Maybe someone else here has had experience on either side-gift bearer or receiver.:)

I think its a good idea aslong as u put things with a range of prices so people don't feel pressure to pay out alot of money if they don't have it.

My DS was christened Greek Orthodox on 30th April and the greeks tend to just give money so we didn't need to worry about it. Although now DS has a nicer looking bank account than mine!!!
