In one of my attempts to become organised, I decided to shop at Woolies only once a month. Regardless, I go to the fruit shop weekly and to the butcher about the same.

Of course this system is not full proof and I find myself attending Woolies/Coles if they have a good bargain (COSC right there) on a more regular basis.

My point to this thread is.............The other day I had to go to the supermarket. I had planned to do some stuff with the kids before I went to the supermarket. I found myself packing the esky with ice bricks and then putting the esky in the car for the milk and ham that I was going to buy and then go straight home.

My first thought was "I have never done this before". My second was "Oh, Christ, I am turning into my mother". My third was "Why, you live two minutes away from the shops". My fourth thought was "How did we survive so long without the continued refrigeration."

These thoughts occured on Friday and the esky is still in the back of the car.

I am fighting the Old Sea Cowness. Help Me.

I won't disagree with you. Just take it in your stride. It is going to happened to all of us at some point and time. Relax.

That is the problem.

Eskies, ABC radio, grey hairs.

Where will it end?

Tuck Shop duty?

The real question is whether you had curlers in your hair as you took the esky out.

Until then, while you are on a downhill track, the slope isn't too steep.

I am just freaked out by your rapid swinging thought process  . Mine goes more like this: "hmmm look at that tree... nice leaves...do we need milk...oh hello morrie dog, are you looking at the tree?...wonder what we can have for...ooo caterpiller...wonder where my headband is..."

Personally I prefer the terms Bingo Wings, Thank you.

No tuck shop duty until the baby is at school.

Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the Bingo wings bite.

I would like to think I am so much more restrained.

How do my kids sleep through the night?
