Hi and welcome to the forum

is it possible for an ivf baby to be not normal?

yes, just as much as any other baby. They still do the same scans as 'natural' pregnancies get to test for various things. I many more scans than a 'natural' pregnancy, though. Especially in the first trimester, I guess they wanted to check growth rate etc.
But then I guess it depends on your definition of 'normal'.

how long doese it take all together...

It may vary from clinic to clinic, but for my successful attempt it was 16 days from start of injections to implantation and 30 days until the final blood test.

i know about the cost..why isnt it covered by medicare??

Some of it is. We claimed medicare on most of the bills, reached the 'limit' and had less to pay for the last lot of bills. Though my partner also had a sprem retrieval operation, so that uped the ante financially.
Talk to medicare and find out exactly what you can claim back.. I found them very helpful.

Sorry, I don't know about the clinic or doctor, hopefully one of the other girls can help.
