Hi everyone

Is anyone a member of a toy library? there is one in my area and I was thinking of joining as it seems like a fab idea?

I wondered what other mums thought about them?

as it is much cheaper than buying new toys!!

any advice or opinions appreciated.
:-)

If you are a member of playgroup QLD you can borrow from one of their toy librarys for FREE ( maximum of 10 per year).
I borrow from the one at Ipswich but I'm sure there would be one near you

I am a member of a pay for hire toy library and found it to be great for the bigger toys that we can't afford to buy, you can hire weekly, fortnightly or monthly, the longer you hire the cheaper the price. the one that I use is really good, all the toys are cleaned/disinfected before you borrow them, they deliver even though you do have to pay for delivery and its the only way of hiring. Check out your local public library as well, I work in one and we have a toy library that is free to our borrowers. We don't have the bigger toys but find that it is still really popular. Just let me know if you want any more details.
