implanon and breastfeeding

Hi everyone,
I am wondering if anyone is breastfeeding and is using implanon. When I had my daughter 2 years ago Iwas told I couldn't do it but now with my 7 week old the doctor is saying it's ok. Is there anyone out there who does have it. I don't want to do anything to affect my bub.

HI, i dont know if im any use but i currently have the implanon in, but when i was getting it, the Doc asked if i was breastfeeding -if so he wouldnt give it to me.
I dont know exactly but im picking up that its not unsafe for bubs and maybe diff docs prefer things in diff ways, IYKWIM.
Hope that somewhat helpful. If ur unsure, call another doc and see what they say, like a second opinion :D
