I'm just looking at these as they have them on sale at BB for a good price. Are they any good? I've only ever used fitteds but I'm interested in getting some AIOs for going out. Are there any other AIO brands that would be good and reasonably priced too? ARe there any that are OSFM?

I don't like magicalls because I don't think they last very long between changes. One wee and that's it.
I prefered using Swaddlebees AIO/Pocket (it's both). I used the pocket as well...
It was super trim and stayed in really good shape for a PUL nappy (IMO, they tend to sag a bit after a while).
It'd last a while when we were out, and fit under clothes really really well.
I don't like the Magicalls at all...
not without a fair bit of boosting IMO. The microfibre is prone to compression leaks.
I have my 2.5 year old in magicalls for hours and they are brilliant ! Especially with the new bamboo boosters in them !
The new magicalls are good I think, the old ones work ok for me but DS is not a heavy wetter.

I've used them with Ani & never had a problem.

The old style magicalls (without the pocket) are used here for aftre bath, before bed type of nappy, as they don't last long. The new ones with pockets (i just HAD to get a few minkee ones) are brilliant!! I always boost with the bamboo booster that comes with it. DS is a pretty heavy wetter in the mornings, and he can have it on for about 3-4hrs with no leaks. If we are going out to the shops and i know i won't get to change him for a few hrs in the morning, it's always an itti or minkee magicall. The ittis are a bit trimmer, but the magicalls contain poop a little bit better on my DS.

hmm...mixed reviews
it seems they are different for different babies/kids I might just have to try one and see how we go.
Any other brand suggestions?
Itti Bittis!

i have a heavy wetter and had the old magicalls and hated them with a passion. they leaked and didnt last long at all. i since have got the new ones and they are really good. i really like them. i have all blues at the moment (got them in a swap) and have a girl so am trying to get rid of them and buy some new pinks and purples. i think they are a good nappy for what they are.

I found them ok, never had a problem with them.
They have a sale on BumGenius at Nurture Nappies for $19 each too and these are one of my faves. They last for a long time! i have taken all of my kids out in these with no problems.
I have actually used a trifold with them and used them over night when i haven't had a chance to wash their night time nappies and never have a leak at all even over night.

I have the old Magicalls and my newborn DD was peeing through them straight away .... so I boosted them with the small BBB booster and they are fine for shorter times.
I don't use them for going out, as someone else mentioned, they do get compression leaks.

the ones that are on sale have the bamboo booster included, does that mean it's not the old one?

from what i can gather its the same, just 2 slight differences which really dont matter at all
These AIOs are the same design as our current full-priced AIOs, however they have a microfleece inner (instead of suedecloth) and the velcro closure is regular velcro (instead of the high tech hook and loop our new stock uses). They still function exactly the same way, and still come with a free bamboo insert, but they are available right here at clearance prices
