Ive been offered a job 2-3 mornings a week 6-9 hrs per week. Which requires me to organise my 4 kids so that i can be at work by 9am. My little ones would be in creche for 3 hrs attached to the building where i would be. They dont seem to have many things for them to play with. And they wont change dirty napies if my dd does a poo. Physio said it would help with my back ( i have back pain) and this job requires me to be in the water with children. I wouldnt be abe to start till after the school holidays and by then i will be 35 weeks. Im not sure its really worth it. To work for 4 weeks and then have to have a break. They want me to return after the baby is born. It woould only be 100-160 bucks a week. Is it worth it??? What do you think????

Personally, I don't think it worth it. You'll be 35 weeks pregnant so not long before you give birth (you could end up giving birth at 37 weeks you never know) and the amount of money and the time you get you're other kids ready, blah, blah, blah its just not something I'd do. Could you maybe wait until AFTER the baby is born? That way you can work fully without stopping (taking a break from having bubs). I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable with having my kids go to care for 3 hours without having their nappies changed either.

Have you done your training? maybe you can do training now and then start work later. Or get some hours in for your training. I gather you're teaching kids to swim, I looked into this one and was under the impression that you assist and get the hours up as part of your training. As for them not changing nappies...would you be able to duck your head in and just ask if they needed changing and do it yourself? Or perhaps they would come and get you or ask for you over the PA?

Its a big decision for sure. I've just made a similar decision that I found very hard - I'm going back to work just for 12 weeks casual - I won't have that much take home pay after I pay for fuel, ccare etc, but I am looking forward to the mental stimulation and a little "time out" from mummy duties. I will miss my littlies like crazy though, and I know that its not forever, only 3 months or so, and the change will be good for me.

So anyway sorry I'm rambling! I'd just say that its your decision, and I'm sure you'll make the right one for you and your family.
