Help! Checking PT after the 3minutes ...

OK now i KNOW it says on the packaging NOT to take any notice of results after 3 minutes, i did a HPT and after 3 minutes it was very obviously negative, but i went back into the bathroom about 2 hours later and saw it sitting in the bin with a very faint upwards line, faint and thin (the horizontal line is thick). I had checked it after about 15minutes and half an hour and it was still negative. Then 2 hours later it looks like a faint positive?? Do they all do this if left too long and should i ignore it?? Any ideas ladies? :confused:

I looked at one a day later, [fished it out of my bag! there hadn't been a bin in the loo] and it was a faint positive. So I did a repeat the next day and it was positive, but still faint. So you never know...:fingerscrossed:

Thanks for replying SPC. I did another test this morning with first morning pee and it was definately negative then my period appeared tonight! Thankgoodness, i really did not want to be pregnant at the moment - i am enjoying my 14month old and i start my post grad midwifery in february, so being pregnant now is NOT a good time! :laughing:
