Hi Girls!
I'm a newly single mummy, and i knew it was going to be tough, but after nearly two weeks of being a single mum, i have just realise HOW hard it is!
Not only are you running around non stop, but emotionally you dont get a break.
You dont have someone to say, can you please take him for ten minutes?? Plus with me working on top of it all, im feel very run down, i dont even get time to eat or drink properly! Im very de hydrated!
With peter being sick, im finding it quite hard coping.
I just want to say i admire all you single mums :) I now know how hard it is, and i only have one! lol
:hugs: Group Hug!:hugs:

HI Nat, Big hugs for you as well. You should 1stly give yourself a pat on the back and give yourself the recognition you so deserve as well!

It is a bit hard not having some one to turn to, to take DS for 10 mins but u kinda get used to it. Its been a yr for me now and i can honestly say i love bieng a single mum now, althou when one or both of us are sick, i second guess that lol.

On the topic of u not eating and drinking right, have u tried having yours and DS meals together, all of them. Eat brekki together, lunch and dinner? This is how i manage with my son who is 1 this mth. You really do need to keep your water intake up coz if u dont it will add to you feeling more tired and ill, not 100%
Maybe just experiement with meal times that u can both be in on, and see if u can work out a feeding routine. And try to take some time for yourself each nite once he is in bed, stuff the washing and anything else. You have to take some YOU time.

Do u have family around, who u could utilise once a week. Do u use daycare, i have just started putting my son in daycare once a week so i can have a decent sleep and refresh myself for another week, and we both LOVE it, its like a holiday for us both. I never thought id use daycare, i figure being a stay at home mum ment i should always be with him, but i came to realise being a SOLO stay at home mum i did need some ME time too, and to refresh so i could enjoy my son more.

LOL ok ive gone :ecomcity: enought now, so hopefully things will start to look up again soon and remember we are all here if u need to chat or ask any Q's about anything! Chin up babe, it wont always be this hard!
