Hi there,

My DS is 4 months old now and has been a pretty good sleeper - wrapped up tight and placed on his back.

However, now, he keeps turning over onto his tummy. He does this whenever I put him on the playgym too, which is fine because I am there watching him.

Should I stop wrapping him now that he can roll onto his tummy? Will that mean he doesnt settle/ sleep as well as he has been? Any tips on what to do instead?

Should i try to stop him from sleeping on his tummy?

Thanks for any advice.

Generally when they start to roll around and can get thier arms free etc. its a good idea to stop wrapping. If bubs rolls onto their stomach while wrapped they may not be able to roll back over and this could result in cot death. You can use a sleeping bag/grobag, and if you are worried about bubs rolling over try a sleep positioner like Safe T sleep.
