View Full Version : Rockhampton Mums
Hi!
I might be coming down to visit some family tomorrow who don't have any children themselves.
So i was just wondering - What is there to do for kids? Are there any play centres?
I know about parks and the botanical gardens. Is the Zoo still open at the BG???
Is it warm enough for the beach yet?
Any tips, info or advice appreciated!
Cheers!
:)

Hi there!!
In answering your questions I would say yes the zoo at BG gardens is still open, I think it is warm enough for the beach although it has been foggy here lately and my suggestions for other things to do are to visit new park at Victoria Park (I think that's what it called - it's near Brother's Leagues club and the Basketball Stadium- very nice!!! and big!!! Also you could take them to the Crazy Joker- an indoor play centre or whip them down to the library or Kershaw Gardens if you'd like !!
Hope that helps...

No worries
They do have story time - however I am not sure when.
There is play equipment at Kershaw G - but if I were you I would head to the new playground - it's so good I want to play on it  It is off Lion Creek Rd near the Sth side pool.
