breathe easier

DD is nearly 2 and has a pretty bad cough she finds it hard to breathe especially at night ive had the vaporiser on it doesnt help much but. i got some cough medicine but thats not helping much either. her day care says it might be croup but to me it just sounds like a cough we would have. how do u tell the difference between them? any ideas how to losen the mucous?

I'm sorry I don't have much advice, only thing I have been told by GP and pharmasist is don't give cough suppressants. And if you do think it could be croup then get it checked out because a dose of steriods could really help. Good luck I hope she is better soon :D
