Ovulation Question

Can anyone offer me an explanation. The earliest I have ever had a period is on day 27, which was once, other than that 28-35days, but never have I been later than day 35.

I have been using home ovulation test kits for the last few months. Now this month just gone, it showed up positive on Day 11. So, don't you ovulate approximately 14days before your next AF, which would be Day 22 which is today right! Well no sign of it and no feeling like it is coming, but who has a period on Day 22? Any ideas????Thanks girls.:idea:

From what I believe its the time AFTER your AF that never changes so you can ovulate on day 17 or day 11, and if your luteal phase is around 12 or 13 days long it will be after that that you get AF, so you cycle could be 30 days or 28 days or whatever you need to know what your luteal phase is. Sometimes Ive ovulated on day 12 or day 16. Look at www.fertilityfriend.com they probably explain it better than me
