Wanted! NOR Joondalup Wanneroo Playgroup, Walks, etc

Hi, :wave:

I'm a 30yo mum to a very active 14 month old little girl. We live in the Wanneroo area (near Joondalup) and would really love to meet some other mums for play dates, walks, chats etc.

We'd also love to join a local playgroup but we've had a tough time finding one with members open to receiving a new addition. We've also found that a lot of activites start at 11.00am-ish which is right on my little girls nap time (11 - 1pm) so they are no good for us.

If you know of any friendly groups that would be open to having a new member I would love to hear about it (and GREATLY appreciate it!). We're open to anything in the Joondalup, Wanneroo, Hillaries, Currambine, Landsdale kind of areas.

hello and welcome! if you keep your eye on the perth thread you will notice we have quite a few meets - there is one on monday at whiteman park. we set our own times and locations, either at parks, playcentres or each others houses.

the meets are very casual - everyone usually brings a plate of food and the kids vary in ages so there is something for everyone/age.

im sure you will find heaps of mums here - i will be having a meet at my house sometime in the next few weeks too so keep an eye out :D

Hi Paventia,

I am prob going to catch up with a friend or two next week (if they are available) at Go Bananas in Joondalup. I have only been once and plan to keep going back there. Its handy when its raining.

Let me know if you are interested in coming or just want to catch up for a cuppa. It will either be Wednesday or Thursday.

Hope the following info helps....

* Woodvale Library has Rhyme Time on Wednesdays at 9.45am to 10.15 ish ... read books, sing songs etc.
* Joondalup Library have Story Time Wed, Thursdays and Fridays at 10.30 to 11am.
* Wanneroo Library have Story Time on Thursdays at 10.30.
*The Wanneroo Child Health Nurse runs a Walking group at Lake Joondalup.
