I've only got 2 snap nappies and find them fiddley to do up b/c ds moves before i get the chance, so mainly use velcro.

Have a mix of bought and homemade pockets, but with the warmer weather thus no clothing on the velcro seems to be scratching his thighs and has left awful marks.

Now to the question, is this b/c the nappy doesn't fit quite right (all OSFM) or is there a trick to how the velcro needs to be done up IYKWIM?

thanks in advance :)

Sounds like your doing the velcro up slightly too low if its able to rub his thigh..
Do it up a bit higher so the bottom of the velcro is well and truly stuck and overlapping the other velcro and not sitting off centre..

God i just read that, does it even make sense.. lol
Do you understand what i mean..?? My words are'nt working today.. lol

My daughter wears OSFM velcro and she has only ever had one red mark on her thighs. And that was because DP had done the velcro up a bit wonky so it ribbed on her leg.

will try, but then on the other side it seems to rub on his tummy! just thinking, maybe i should put skinnier hook than the velcro, if that makes sense? would it hold as tightly?

I have the same problem kel72.......i have no idea how to stop it though, sorry. Its like it folds over itself or something. Very frustrating.
