What sorts of clothes do you wear in summer to hide your post baby belly but still look good? I am in desperate need of a wardrobe revamp for summer. I am hourglass with a few extra kilos:omainly around my tummy as well as that lovely extra skin(thanks dd:p)
so I have heard that maxi dresses look good on any shape is this true? any other advice appreciated:o:D

i like tha maxi dress and halter neck tops with a lot of cleavege but that are lose around the waist are good!( i find if you put your boobs out it distracts from the tummy!)

There's a lot of tummy-hiders out this season it seems!

A lot of high waisted or empire waisted stuff is around...meaning it'll pull in at the slimmer part of your body (just under your boobs - which would generally be slimmer than the middle of your stomach if you're wanting to cover it up), and then be pretty free-flowing over your stomach. Dresses and tops - just wear shorts/pants under the tops, not a skirt, or you'll look fat.

There's also lots of waist-high full skirts - so they have a big band around your waist (not hips), and then are quite big and loose. I love that, because it means you can be nice and fat under the belly button and nobody will know! :p

You could also just grab a few pairs of sucking-in undies. Those things are awesome. My fave thing to do is buy them in 1 size too small. Means they suck in harder. Be careful that it doesn't mean it cuts into your bum/thighs though, or it'll hurt. And make sure they're the types that go all teh way up to the bottom of your bra, or else, unless the top part of your abdomen is rock hard, you'll end up with an up-high muffin top. :p

I often wear a tight singlet top under most of my clothes. Pulls everything in and stops that jiggle feeling!
Empire line tops and dresses are great. The 50's skirt is very in this summer and because they are high waisted they are alot more flattering!
Also try googling trinny and susannah because their body shape guide details the styles and cuts that suit each body shape.
