Well lucky me is planning a large birthday bash for myself in november on the gold coast and i was hoping some gold coast locals wouldnt mind helping me out a little.
So firstley we need somewhere to stay and it needs to be close to where nite clubs, bars n resturats are and maybe a spot of shopping oh n of course the beach. Im not sure if ill get all those things but the nite clubs are the main think hehe. Its needs to be nice...ok really nice this is my birthday i deserve somewhere nice i think. A day spa would also be nice but not a must.
OK well ill just start with the hotel and see how we go with that. Thanks heaps in advance. If anyone has any other ideas i would love to hear them.

Raffles in Surfers is not bad, cheap and close to clubs and beach.

What about the casino?

 The casino is great! There are plenty of Clubs, bars and restaurants in there.
Plus you are close to Pacific fair for shopping and right on the highway for buses. Public transport is plentiful from there too, very easy to catch a bus to surfers or the monorail to go across to the beach at Broadbeach!

Have fun!

What about that place that has just been done up????

Anywhere fancy on Cavil and around that area would be great, and then you could go over to Pacific fair from your accomodation.

What about the casino?

 Totally agree, the casino is awesome. DH and I have lovely memories of the Casino, we've stayed a couple of times and they have gone out of their way to make our night special. They bumped us up to the Penthouse twice a few years back.

If you mention it's a special occassion they always try and make even more of a special night for you :D

the main drag is orchid avenue, surfers paradise, totally tacky but hey its what you are after. lots of clubs, restaurants and surf beach.
theres a zillion places to stay in surfers id google and see what takes your fancy.
btw the casino is the next suburb down from surfers. quick car trip but you wouldnt walk it esp if drunk

If you can afford it, stay at the Q1, we stayed there a few weeks ago, and highly recommend it:yes:
