unsettled after 2mth immunisation today

Hi all.
My little boy had his 2mth immunisation today at 10am. For the last hour or so he has been really unhappy :crying:.

He has a fresh nappy, been given baby panadol and been fed and burped - so what else can I do? :confused:

My DS1 was never like this with any of his immunisations so I have no experience on this matter!!

my DD is usually upset after needles. she would just winge and be a bit sook for the rest of the day (cant blame her though) we usually just have to cuddle her. and try and keep her happy.

Hi!

It can be a really normal thing.
Just check her temperature often and if she does have one for a prolonged period and panadol isn't helping or develops a rash (although normal around the injection site) or you think she is continuing to be more unsettled then ring your hospital....

My baby was the same after his 2 mth shots a week ago, he was really unsettled, and crying a lot, I think it is pretty common for bubs to be a bit unsettled especially for the 2/4/6 mth needles.
