Hi Girls,
Im over 9 weeks now and have had NO MS. I know people say some women are just lucky, but is it normal to get absolutely no MS, like zip zilch zero. I kinda wish i did (but just a little!), then i would feel more pregnant because i really dont feel very pregnant.
Anyone else been worried by this??

No way was I envious! Had none, except if I had a BBQ then I would be sick later that day.

After watching a girlfriend (well not literally :D) vomit all morning every day, even on the day of delivery, I was SO grateful.

Don't worry, you will feel pregnant soon enough ;)

Trust me, you don't WANT ms lol... you feel wretched allllllllllll day and night. :sunshine: You're lucky!

Well they say that MS is a good sign because it shows that hormones are changing and RAGING. But since everyone reacts differently to different things its not possible to say that someone doesn't have MS won't have a healthy pregnancy or doesn't have the right amount of hormones.

We ALL wish we had what we don't have, but if you did have it you'd be wishing you didn't.

Nope, never got MS, not even when pg with twins!! Kinda hoped for MS because then I would feel pg, and 'almost' normal but alas... didn't get that...

You can only go by the size of your growing uterus, and know it's all happening as it should!! I didn't feel pg until the belly started to show and I felt movements (around the 19week mark)

Or a nice bout of food poisening:D Believe me it does not make you "feel" pregnant Just sick:barf: And be carefull what you wish for

I never had any MS with DD and watching a GF (as with the others not literally) have bad MS all the way through I was grateful that I missed out (I think i was sick 3 times with DD once after eating pizza, once with the smell of lamb chops and once DH farted and it made me throw up - he loves that story and shares it regularly):laughing:

However this time I have been nauseous since I found out (perhaps even before) and still get a bit now (I am still hoping it will go away) I want my nice MS free pregnancy back.....

enjoy the lack of MS this time if you go back it may be different. As the others said you will have pleanty of other symptoms soon enough.

I was never ever nauseus or sick in anyway during my pregnancy, and I felt exactly the same as you! I sometimes wish I had been sick so I didn't eat as much as I did while pregnant!

The only symptoms I got early on were sore boobs, and an ache in my lower belly for weeks on end, kind of a stretching ache.

Later in pregnancy though I had high blood pressure and really really really sore hips, so sore that I could not sleep.

So don't worry I'm sure you'll get some symptoms eventually, just enjoy the not being sick part!

I've just found out I am pregnant for the 2nd time. I was so sure before even doing the test, because at 4 and a half weeks I am running to the toilet a couple of times a day (nearly got caught lining up to pay for fuel at the servo yesterday...not pleasant), and feeling nauseous 80% of the time. The thought of certain foods gets my guts churning. I am SOOOO happy to be pregnant again but didn't feel this way until 6 weeks last time. I can understand that those who don't get it may not 'feel' very pregnant - my Mum felt nothing with me - I was a miracle baby at 39 - so she was something like 4 months along until she felt something was up!!! I'm very upbeat right now, but am sure as these early weeks drag I'll be feeling like having a moan

 :iagree: Never, ever wish for it!! lol. I soooo want another baby, but i dread the thought of MS and missing out on my kids lives as I can't function as a normal human, let alone a mum whilst preggas.

I understand where you are coming from though. A friend and i were preggas at the same time, she watched me be green all day, and vomit up my lunch, dinner, morning/afternoon tea etc. She had a little MS until 8 weeks then nothing. She didn't have a scan until 14weeks and was aorried the whole time that there was somthing not quite right. All was of course perfect, and she now has a very healthy 3yo, but at the time, she almost wished for a bit of a sign that she was pregnant.

I didnt have morning sickness..... i had 24 hour sickness from 5 weeks right up until 19 weeks!:barf:

Im telling you that you dont want it! Nothing worked, no drugs from the doctor - NOTHING I TELL YOU!

I even had to give up work during that time because i was so ill.

Enjoy your pregnancy & enjoy feeling good - you're lucky.....

I would LOVE a ms free pregnancy... ms is truly the worst- it takes away any enjoyment from being pregnant. TOUCH WOOD it doesnt seem as bad as it was when I had DS, and Im hoping it doesnt get worse. Right now it is just a mild nausea, I can cope with it.

I am jealous of you that you don't have MS you are so lucky! Count your blessings. Having morning sickness really sucks  This is my second pregnancy and with my first I also had morning sickness so my next one may be a girl too. It is super hard cause I am still breastfeeding my 6 month old while having morning sickness... I can't wait till my first trimester is over and hopefully I'll have more energy and feel better in my second.

Thats funny coz everyone i know who has been pregnant recently didnt get sick at ALL!! and had perfectly healthy babies, so i feel like the abnormal one being so horribly ill!! so yeah, i just think its the way your body decides to react to the hormones and all the changes in your body, for some lucky ones, you dont feel a thing. VERY lucky :) enjoy! and dont overthink it.
