no tears???

Allana is 6 months next week and hasn't shed any tears at all yet :crying:. Is this normal? Most of the mums I talk to said their littlies have been crying tears for quite a while. I did read that it could take up to 9 months but that seems a little weird.

Can anyone give some input?

If the doctors have said she's ok id just be happy with that! Your lucky it sounds like you have a very happy and content baby!!:yelclap:

My girls had tears by 6 months.
Maybe your little one has blocked ducts?

Perhaps give it another couple of weeks, then if you are really worried take her to the Doctors.

Thanks very much for your replies. I took Allana for her 6 month check up and the Nurse said that if she had blocked ducts, her eyes would be wet with tears all the time so not having any indicates that her ducts are fine. We had her needles the following day at the GP and I queried it with him. He simply said not to worry, and that she'll get them eventually!

So I guess I'm pretty lucky because I saw my girlfriends 5 month old cry the other day with tears and it really gets you. I suppose it'll be something I'll get used to.
