Hi guys...

Looking at purchasing a vacuum in the near future.. i have narrowed it down to either a Niflisk, Dyson (telescopic wrap version) or Miele:confused: . If you have one of these or can offer any advice that may help me with the final decision, that would be great!!!:smiliedance:

Many thanks :yelclap:

My mum has a dyson and she says its great.

Do any of them have the washing capability? If yes, Id go with that one!!

Dyson, no comparison.

Th first time we used it, even though we had cleaned regularly with the previous one, the amount it picked up was enough to make you feel ill just looking at it. It does do a fabulous thorough clean, and there is never any "hot dust" smell that you get with some cleaners.

It was expensive, but if I had to buy another vacuum, I'd get another Dyson.

My mum has a Dyson, as she has really bad allergies, and she swears by it. You certainly get what you pay for.....Though I just bought a Kambrook Jaguar (with the Hepa filters, and bagless), and the amount IT picked up off our floor was amazing too!

I totally looooove my Dyson. We have a pull along one DC011 I think. I intitially wanted an upright, but found that it didn't fit under the couch/bed/fridge because the head was really big.
It's totally digusting how much it picks up. Even when you think, oh that carpet looks pretty clean, it actually isn't. We have wooden floorboards too and use the hard floor tool, which is wonderful.

We have a Miele Cat and Dog and I think it's fabulous. I have used a Dyson on regular occassions and can not stand it. Choice didn't rate them very well either - their hard floor head can cause scratching. I suppose what I dislike about it most is the bagless element because everytime I go to empty the cannister into the bin, I get a face full of dust and end up sneezing for the rest of the day. The Miele has a HEPA filter too if you want it (all filters are interchangable amongst the different models). We use just the charcoal filter because we have a german shepard who lives indoors and it gets rid of all the doggy smells.

I vote Dyson as well.

Ours is fantastic on both polished timber floors and a big shaggy rug we have. It is amazing how much is picks up.
