Nappy free nights

Hi there,

Was just wondering at what age everyone started leaving nappys of at night and how did you go about it? My son is almost three and has been daytime toilet trained for both poos and wees for about six months but I havent attempted to train him overnight yet? Is it time to start?

dd went with out a nappy at night the first day she started toilet training...i forgot:o
but she did well.

although she has started to wet the bed now, i think its from drinking before bedtime

Is he waking up dry most of the time? I started noticing DD's nappies were dry in the mornings, so tried pull-ups for a few nights, and they were still dry, so I then moved straight on to undies, and she was fine. That was by putting her on the toilet before bed, but she still had a small drink before bedtime if she wanted it....She's only had 2 accidents, and that was because once i forgot to put her on the toilet before bed, and the other because she feel asleep early and i didn't want to wake her.

If he's waking up dry most mornings, then i'd maybe try some pull ups, or undies if you want. I also put a waterproof mattress cover on underneath too, just in case...but i've taken it off now. Good Luck!
