Omg i got a BFP today, i have such mixed feelings. I came off the pill end of jan or beginning of feb as i wasn't feeling right anyway got a period straight after only a short one then i havent had a period in about 12 wks. The last few wks i have done a test every wk or two and now today i get a BFP so i dont no how far along or what

You may say well if your off the pill what do you expect but we used protection, couple of times forgot but well i guess that was all it took

i Just told my dh and i think hes happier than me about it even though he was the one saying at the beginning of the yr not yet. His comment was i must be very fertile:laughing:. Glad he took the news ok, he wanted to be here with me but hes in canberra, can celebrate when he gets back. i will however do another test tomorrow to make sure but ive never heard of a flase positive + it came up immedietly and wasnt faint either.

This is like a line out of my life story. A bit over twelve months ago I got a BFP. Totally unplanned and I was soooo surprised. We had had 5 years of no babies from my being aware of my cycle and being really careful around ovulation. I was worried about how DH would react and he was more excited than me! He also was away and I had to ring him and tell him. His positive reaction and support was the best response I could have hoped for. I was upset and he was so great about it all.
Now that Hamish is here, I can't understand why I ever felt like I didn't want another bub!:D

thanks sal. My dh phoned today and he likes the idea and is reasurring me that it will be ok:(. I love babies and i really wanted to try awhile back but its so weird as i had changed my mind as both my boys had become real handfuls:banghead:. He didnt want one yet and now he sounds quite excited:smiliedance:. Will be good when he gets home tomorrow:yes:
