But I think I've changed my mind and decided one might be it for me... I figure I can devote so much more attention, and financially give her much more opportunity... especially being on my own....

Truthfully, I could handle another baby - but I'm not sure I could handle another child! Pity they grow up so fast.

I would love 3...will see how we go ....the O man (aka: oscar) is the best thing that ever happened to me and so extremely adorablebut holy heart pulpatations ....he is like a runaway train most days...you'd think the prego weight would shift with all the running I do to chase him....he is more like a rugby team "handful"than my fat hands!!

Having said that though we've just started TTC #2.....crazy but i'm a sucker for children....motherhood is my calling...I'm in love with my life!!:D :

Before Eliza was born we planned or hoped to have 6 children..now after a shocking c/section and still not quite knowing what has happened to my uterus (was torn upwards) I will be happy for any more children..although me and DP are both quite scared of a 2nd one after what we went through. But we hope to TTC later this year anyway if everything is OK and we'll take it from there.

I think if we have a boy and a girl we're going to just not do anything too drastic until the youngest is about 5, and if we're not going to have a 3rd one of us will get more permanent birth control.

at the moment we've got 2 lovely furry 1yr olds running round the house (cats of course) and a little boy on the way (he's now 3 days overdue). both me and my DP really want a girl, he's always wanted a girl. so he was kinda dissapointed when we found out we were having a boy. tho in his family having girls is very rare.
i want to have a max of 3 kids. about 2 boys and 1 girl. DP wants to keep goin till we have a girl. :eek: that could be up to 10 kids. garr no.
well after little bubbykins comes we'll prob start ttc again asap. i want them close together 1-2yr gaps. so i'll have another when i have another. :D just gonna let nature take its course.

I'd love to have 6. I had such a beautful labour & delivery with Liam, that I would willingly go through it all again! I have 2 brothers and a sister and would have liked more!

My mum has 15 brothers & sisters - having lots of kids is what we do best in my family. :cool:

I think that these two will be enough for me for a while!! If we get another girl we may decide to have another once these chikens reach school age and try our luck for a boy, then we would call it quits regardless of three girls or two girls and a boy. We only ever wanted a little girl, & we got her first try. It may sound silly but i dont think i could love another bub as much as i love MJ. Even DH misses out because MJ takes up all my time, love & affection. That & DH doesnt want anymore. He'd quite happily go get a vasectomy tomorrow if I'd let him.

BUT if another bub decides to join our family then who am i to complain. I'm sure i'd manage. I just hope that if a second addition does occur its when MJ is atleast 4-5 years old.

I am planning on TTC in mid 2008...when DD is about 3. I don't want two babies...a baby and a toddler/pre-schooler is a much better idea for me (I think I would have a mental breakdown otherwise!).

If the 2nd bub turns out to be a boy, then I'll probably stop at that. If it's a girl, I'd try once more for a boy. I don't mind ending up with 3 girls...but there's no way I want more than 1 son (hate the fighting!).

Three would be nice, enough for a large family (and also means two more on the way, one day :fingerscrossed: ) but not enough to have to upgrade to a "mansion" and a incredibly expensive-to-run people-mover! Sounds logical.. doesn't it?
