hi there,
birthing centre?? don't think there is one, and you have to book the midwives clinic before you get pregnant!

There used to be one but then it joined back in with the hospital, could've changed though. I went public and was treated well,no complaints.
Cheers Jen.

I went private and was under shared care with my doctor and the midwives. All care was top notch.

Hi there
I went through the Community Midwifery Program when I had my son and I highly recommend them, they were fantastic! They used to be situated on the 8th floor at RDH but they now have their own office on Trower Rd next door to the MVR (the same building as the Night and Day Pharmacy). If that helps anyone. Their after birth care was fantastic too. If we decide to have another bub I will definately be going back there.
