Hi everyone,
TTC #1 since Feb, and quite anxious.
In March, I had all of the pg symtoms including late period etc. I tested for 2 weeks - all BFN, and then had a blood test which confired this. My naturopath thinks that possibly the egg fertilized but did not implant.
This was one of the most stressful and upsetting times for me and DH, as all the signs were pointing to pg, but no luck.
Now, I am currently 2 days late. Some symptoms, such as tiredness, and slight nausea. I have also had like hunger pains and an emptiness type feeling in my tummy. What is really strange is that CM has increased and is not quite stringy and creamy in colour. I am not usually late - I was very regular before TTC.
I am scared about testing now. It just became such a horrible experience last time, that this time, I am not dreading the possibility of seeing another BFN!
Any thoughts, stories or advice would be truley appreciated.

:fingerscrossed: Bigtum2b, oh, my tummy is anxious for you - hopefully implantation occurring in me as I write. What I do is test exactly 1 week after I'm late. I'm sick of getting dissappointed, are you normally late? Oh, let us know? Remember, what will be will be.:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

Thanks so much for that. When you say that you think you are at the implantation stage, how do you know?? What is the time frame?
Good luck for you too - sending you good wishes :D

 Oh, maybe wishful thinking. It's not that I can feel anything, I've have done so much reading, being due for AF next Thursday, implantation should be happening now. I wish I knew what it felt like, you know how some ladies say they just knew. Well I don't:( I just keep saying to myself, it's my turn, it's my turn!
You go with your heart sweetie.;)

I went to see a clairevoyant (?) last month. She told me not to wish too hard that it happens, as it may cause it to be premature according to the planets/stars etc.
She said that, life is already planned just as it should be and not to wish it to happen any quicker, as if a baby arrives not at its intended time, it could have many other issues to deal with.
This made so much sense to me, and although I don't normally believe in all of this, it just made me relax a little more.
I found this affirmation which I keep saying:
"Everything is divine and in perfect order right now". This is helping me so maybe will for you too.
Lissylou did you ever have symptoms like I have described? They are quite mild, so am beginning to wonder if I have imagined it (not the tiredness though). Also, after testing 1 week later, did you ever have any false negatives?
Thanks
Bigtum

BigTum,
Never had a false negative at 35 days. My cycle fluctuates between 28-35 days, though I have never been later than 35days!!!!!!!!! I have done an occassional test say at day 29 and 31 and they have always been right, negative!!I have ended up using home ovulation kits because one month I may ovulate on day 14, another month day 16. The home ov kits work really well for me. My symptoms, basically nothing until around 6 weeks, when the boobs ache and the nausea hits. You know you'd think I'd know more after 3 pregnancies, truth is, it's all still a learning experience. It's hard for you withouth anything to compare it to. Are you swaying a particular way yet as to the test? Have to go out, but keep us posted.
I always give in and test early as well. Im trying to wait until AF is a week late and then test. I tend to over analyze every symptom & feeling and think that im PG when im not. Ill have my fingers crossed for you, this might be your lucky month!!

Hi Tara-Jane,
I know what you mean. I am sitting here thinking, do I feel nauseous, or am I imagining it??
When are you due? Do you have any symptoms?
AF showed up yesterday - one week late, and I already have a 35 day cycle.
I would rather it be regular so I have more chances to "try"
If you have only just come off the pill it might explain why you are late, well not nesessarily late, just not regular yet... TTC is soo stressful!

Ok, so I gave in and tested this morning. And surprise surprise I got a BFN!!
I haven't been on the pill for 2 1/2 years, have been taking vitamins and all good stuff from my naturopath for 6 months. I woke up this morning feeling a bit nauseauous etc, but have no other symptoms and just don't really feel pregnant.
I am going to see the dr again today.
I just don't want to be another statistic of women who have difficulty conceiving. I really thought that it wouldn't happen to me in this way. I am very healthy, not too stressed, only 27 etc - what's going on?????

Oscar's Mum, that gives me little hope. But I don't want to get my hopes up.
Did anyone shed some light on why you had all those negative test results?
Did you have any symptoms?

Nope the Dr just keeps telling me sometimes that happens! It happened when I was pg with Ozzy too, so I kind of expected it to happen with #2!
I was very tired and had cramping but that was really the only symptoms!;)

Probably the best thing u can do is take long bath and relax - if u get yourself worked up I'm sure it effects you, and the stress makes it even harder to concieve!!! The first month we were trying I talked myself into morning sickness, then was bitterly disappointed when i wasn't pg, when i relaxed, took the pressure off and tried to forget we were TTC, thats when nature worked!!!
Give it some time and take care of yourself!!!!:yelclap:

Thinking of you. Once upon a time I thought negative meant negative, but when you read all the other posts, so many ladies are pregnant, and get false negatives. Thinking of you.
