its impossible to find places to live in moranbah hey! its shocking. my hubby works out at moranbah but we live in mackay and he just travels out for his shifts!

Hi There

I lived in Moranbah a few years back now and honestly think its a hole and take my hat off to anyone that can stand to live there. My sister in law has been there 2 years and for those 2 years she's been trying to get her DH to find another job or get transfered lol. Housing is shocking to find, unless your provided with it from the employer and it's way overpriced. I suggest Emerald if you can get a job. It's one of the better mining towns I've lived in. Blackwater is ok - not great though, but it's close to Rocky so that kinda makes up for it's lousy-ness lol.
