We are off to Canada via LA for two weeks and then back to LA for two weeks at end of November.

My daughter will be 11.5mths when we leave, turning one while away. Currently she is bottlefeed and was wondering what you would do in regards to formula. Would you take tins with you or use a recommended type in the US. I have also been told not to worry about it and just put her on cow's milk a couple of weeks before she leaves (which will be 11mths). This is my first bub, not sure what to do, if anyone has any info that my help, it would be appreciated.

If you were happy to put her onto cow's milk slowly a few weeks before i reckon that would be easier but if you weren't wanting to do that then i would take the formula with you as what if she didn't like the formula in the US...that could be a drama all of its own so would be less stressful to take your own with you.

Storm, I know Chickadee has posted on this topic in this section previously, so if she doesn't see your post, maybe search back, I recall her offering advice from her experience of travelling with one about the same age.

Hope you have a great time and remember, one leg of the journey at a time!
