Wanting some local info - Townsville and Magnetic Island

Hi ladies, just starting a thread here as I would like some local info. My DH has a regular (4 times/yr) trips to Townsville for work. Now finally I've managed to convince him that the girls and I (1yo and 3yo) should come up with him and stay on at Magnetic Island for a week.

I know about flights, airport/ferry transfers etc, but I wanted some local info on where to stay on Magnetic Island, recommendations are always good (looking at 12 nights).
Also does anyone know of anywhere in Townsville we can hire a portacot, highchair and 2 car seats for a week.

you can hire everything from there, car seats, portacots, high chairs and anything else you may need! and its quite reasonably priced too!
