Hi Everyone ,

Are there any Mum's in the above mentioned area's that would like to chat about, and possibly consider meeting up for art/craft afternoons? Please let me know.

I'm a SAH single Mum who is missing taking time out for myself to be creative. Being a person with an artistic background I'm frustrated that I have so little time to do the things that I love & would find it great to arrange a set time to be creative with other like minded Mum's.

Finger's crossed :)

Hi Guys,

I'm actually located in Roselands (kind of between both of you :)).

SJR, the art school sounds great, however as I'm a sole parent my budget runs too tight to consider such a luxury:(, and I'm at the stage at the moment where I'm happy to play around with my own projects (hopefully with some good company as well). I must say that I REALLY miss the MCA & AGNSW, plus wandering into any other art spaces for that matter. I also have a backgroung in jewellery design & really miss visiting jewellery exhibitions as well.

KaM sewing and scrapbooking sound great. I tend to do a bit of sewing & knitting these days but would love to start a bit of painting again. I just thought that this could be a great opportunity for each of us to do what we enjoy with other grown-ups (yay!):smiliedance:, and maybe even teach/learn a few tips together:idea:.

If either of you are still interested what days would be convenient for you? Would you consider heading over my way for the catch-ups? I'm usually toddler free on Thursday's & Friday's, although do have to fit other appointments around these days at times also.

Let me know what you think & we can PM to organize the details.

Take care & try to maintain some sanity :o

Wow KaM,

Do you manage to get out at night??? I'm sooooo impressed! I've never managed a night out without my little one, a coffee once (when I was visiting my parents) but so far that's all!!

Unfortunately next Thursday I have a couple of unexpected appt's. But how does Tues sound? My little one is at home that day, but can be entertained, and it can give us a little time to get acquainted. Do you have transport?
