Hi there,

I am in now 6 weeks and tuesday night i had cramping which lasted a couple of minutes.

My hubby called the radio dr, when he finally came he checked me over and everything was fine, he told me to bed rest for a couple of days, which is what i have been doing and i have not had any cramps since.

I have had no bleeding at all.

Does anyone else get this??????

It could be your uterus stretching and getting ready to grow and do it's thing. I got it for the first trimester for both my pregnancies.

Farmgirl! :smiliedance: first congrats on your pregnancy.....how exciting!! You give me hope with ivf, we just had transfer on our first ivf cycle i hope we are as lucky as you. With my DS i had cramping and i was told the same "lots of rest" Having no bleeding is a good sign. all the best :flowerz: xx

Thats great my sister said the same that it's probably my uterus (she has 3 boys)

Maisymum - there is hope with IVF, there's a few customers at my work that have done ivf and they all have beautiful children.
When i had my ET is all i did was pray that it works and it did.
If you go crazy in the 2ww you can PM me as i will be home for the rest of the week. :hugs:

I have had period like pain/cramping every 3-4 weeks for the whole pregnancy and it's been fine... it is more than likely your uterus stretching... take it easy if you can.

Could be a lot of things...early pregnancy brings a myriad of aches and pains. My guess would be bad gas...sounds lame, but I sometimes get gas cramps that can buckle me over...and they only last a few mins. Im sure its fine :)

I agree with the others. I would only really be concerned if it was constant, intensifying or with blood loss.
I wish you all the best, and congrats on your BFP :yelclap:

Thanks everyone for all your replies, you have all made me feel so much better.

Being the first pregnancy i spose everyone worries over just the slightest thing, funny though.

I had such severe cramping in my 1st pregnancy at around 6 weeks that I was rushed to ER. It happened a few times but I went on to have a beautiful little girl!

Good look with your pregnancy
