I'm minding a friends DD today (5yrs) and I just gotta laugh at how brutally honest kids are.........

When I was getting changed this morning she said to me "it looks like you have a baby in your stomach"!

Then as we were looking at framed photo's on our dining cabinet she asked "is this your wedding" my reply "yes", to which she commented "gee you look old" (we are talking 11yrs ago!) don't know whether to  or :crying:

Is tact something we learn or are taught or does it just come naturally one day.....

Hehehehehe! They are funny aren't they!

My 12.5yr old DS (nearly a teenager:eek: ) is just now learning to have some tact! Mind you he still comes out with some whoppers sometimes
I think it's a bit of both

I think tact is to a certain extent taught and also learned by watching the way people react to things that you say. I have tried to teach Nyssa to be "tactful" but it doesn't always shine through...usually she forgets it when we are out in public at the worst times......but she is still only little, so only time will tell.....
