*TMI* what about cm?

Can someone tell me what your cm(cervical mucous) is supposed to be like before af? Any info would be great thanx!:)

Hi Jaimie, here's some info:

"Cervical Mucous (CM)
There are five basic types of CM. From least to most fertile, they are: dry, sticky, creamy, watery, and eggwhite. Eggwhite is clear and stretchy. It’s the best way to tell when you’re about to O. When you have EWCM, you should have intercourse (BD – baby dance). You usually have 2-4 days of fertile CM. Some women don’t get eggwhite and watery is their most fertile CM. That’s okay. Just be sure to BD whenever you have watery or eggwhite CM. Your last day of most fertile CM or lubricative vaginal sensation is your Peak Day and is the day before or of ovulation. It’s normal to have increased wetness for a day or so before AF, too. If you’ve just gone off BCP, you may have consistently milky CM, which can be confusing. Or if you have really long cycles like I did, you can have multiple patches of EWCM before actually ovulating. "

From what I've read on the internet, CM if you're pg is different for everyone, so you can't use it to tell if you're pg or not, sorry :no: Someone else might correct me here though! :D

thanx Little Fish! i am just trying so hard to remember what it was like when i was pg with Jazz. I did all the charting and temps and herbs with Jazz and :fingerscrossed: i can get pg without all that this time:D

Hi, during the post-fertile phase (from ovulation to your AF) cm decreases and you may feel dry again. The cm changes to small amounts of thick, white, flaky, crumbly or sticky, cloudy or yellowish mucous until your AF begins. Some may not notice any cm at all.

Hey Jazzys Mum

Great question!! I am wondering the same thing. My AF was due on Tuesday and I feel as though my CM has increased since then. I am starting to wonder if I am ovulating late, or if this is a pg sign??

Any advice would be so helpful.
