My DS rolls to his tummy in the cot and then can't roll back over and gets distressed (he sleeps on his back) Do you go in and roll them back or leave them?

i chatted to the chn about this. she said to me that if they can roll onto their tum they are safe to stay there to sleep. Is it because of sids or a settle issue that you ask? My ds screams if he roll onto his tummy and can not, will not settle. but now that i put him in his sleeping bag, that has stopped him for now. ha ha ha * evil laugh*

its a settling issue.. he hates being on his tummy for a long period of time. I did try the sleeping bag but that will probably be too hot for QLD day sleeps...what do you think?

HI threecooks,

I live in Darwin and recently purchased a Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap cause DS who is 7 months had exactly the same issues you stated :(.

It has a section that wraps around the mattress and then also one that you wrap around bub - it is perfect for warm weather. Ds during the day sleeps with a jumpsuit on and of a night we lay a thin blanket over him (with jumpsuit on).

My little guy is quite the mover and for this reason i bought the SAFE T SLEEP SLEEPWRAP designed for babies with colic as it has a section which goes between there legs. Since having it DS is more content  and i can sleep a little heavier  then usual knowing my little guy is comletely safe. He is able to lay on his side which he loves without completely rolling over onto his stomach . If you google the product a web page will come up.

Hope this helped
