hey all,
a little bit sad and a little bit happy here,
shane got a job in town and finished his lats fifo roster in april, last week the mine where he was working closed!!! 4 months! that is all i got. no he has to go back to fifo.
3weeks on 3 weeks off, on a gas and oil field, out in the middle of the scrub with no phones. he gets into the camp about once a week to ring us.

im happy cause i know we can do it, we did it for 2.5 yrs with very few problems and im actually looking forward to having the house to myself and being able to do things my way. only problem is #3 is due in 8 weeks. i was really looking forward to having someone her to help while i adjusted to having more kids than i do arms. ill have three babys in nappies!
there is 37 months between the first and last!
im scared!!!!!!!
i dont even want to think about how much the kids will miss him when he starts going away again.

my other problem is that he has been to a recruting seminar for a group who are contracted by mines all over to find workers, now he is talking about going to WA cause its 'great money' i dont give a #### about the money, i dont want to go to a new state miles away from anyone i know with a 3yr old, 2yr old and newborn. i have a hard enough time making friends as it is, besides, im happy here.

argh!!!! i just hope he goes back to his old job.

any advice?
i think im mostly just writing this to feel sorry for myself adn get a few hugs. lol. very sad.

I can understand why you're upset, I would be too if I had hubby back at home again, only for him to have to go back to FIFO.

I am having #4 at the end of this year and I am freaking out a little too(I was really cool with having #3, so not sure why I am freaking out so much this time around!).

And if you ever do come out to WA, there is a huge network of FIFO mums, you will make heaps of friends :)
