How do you use your cloth wipes?

Do you wet them at each nappy change or have them already damp in a container? If you have them already damp how many do you dampen at once?

Oh and how do you wash the dirty (poo) ones? Do you rinse any of it off first or just put them through the wash how thye are? and do you wash them seperate or with a load of clothes?

Any other hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.. The things my brain can't workout since bub arrived

We have a pile of clean dry facewashers that are dedicated bum wipes. They stay on the change table. When I suspect we'll need them, I wet them from the kettle (the water is always a bit warmer in there than from the freezing cold tank water that comes out of the tap), and use them that way. I rarely need more than 4 at a time - even for the biggest newborn poop-splosion.

We have a 'little squirt' sort of set up on our toilet, so any with a lot of poo on them get squirted along with the nappy, and then put in the nappy bucket until wash day.

I tried pre-wetting the cloths at one stage but it really didn't work for us. I HAVE kept a closed container of water with a TINY little bit of a baby bath soap in there, and wet them as I needed to - but that only works when you've got a child too young to play with the container

Hi there. I have a little squeeze bottle with some sorbalene mixed with water that I squirt on just prior to use.

I use flushable liners which catches most of the poo and the rest is rinsed in the laundry sink.

The set up works really well for us. Good luck.

Each morning I grab a pile of dedicated bum wipe facewashers, wet them just enough to make them damp and keep them in a container. Then I just use them as I would normal wipes and put them in the wash with the nappies. Easy peasy

Much the same as everyone else, I have a stash of face wipes that are dedicated bottom wipes, I wet them as I need them from the tap then nuke them in the microwave- quicker then waiting for hot water and not to mention more water wise then I just use the little squirt if I need to and dry pail them with my nappies.
