I know,i havent even had bub yet but was looking for a thread I saw a while ago, just cant find it now.
It is actually a general question. I'm sure i saw a formula to work out roughly how much milk a baby should have per feed when expressing.
Can someone please enlighten me or point me in the direction of the thread i need.
Thanks in advance.

I believe the formula is 150 x baby's weight in kg then divide by number of feeds per day.

if your going to be feeding bub EBM i suggest feeding bub bottles with 120mls in it. FF babies tummies are differnt to BF babies tummies due to the fact that BM digests quicker etc, so they will be having more feeds than a FF baby coz formula stays in their tum longer...IYKWIM.

if you do big bottles of EBM, if bub only wants a snack, your going to be wasting alot of liquid gold!!!!!

hopefully a pumper will be able to tell you how much they feed thier bub.

good luck
