Lactation consultant in Brisbane??

Can anyone recommend a good lactation consultant on the Southside of Brisbane?

When I say a good one ... I want someone who is lovely, understanding and helpful - not someone who is going to grab my boobs and babies head and mush them together (like in the hospital).

Any recommendations?

I saw a LC tonight ... thanks to a referral from another BHubber!

And I can't thank that hubber enough! What a wonderful, helpful person she is ... didn't "grab" anything, explained everything to me and didn't make me feel useless/hopeless for a second.

After one visit I feel much more confident and more comfortable with BFing. So fingers crossed we're on the up and up with BFing. :thumbsup:

Anyone else in Brissy need a fantastic LC ... PM me! Can't recommend her highly enough. :yes:

Unfortunately your lady is in a Management role now, so could only help over the phone. :( I badly needed hands on help ....

But after tonight I'm feeling so much more confident .... it will take awhile to get it right ... but we're on the right track now.
