Hi all. :wave:

i am having a girls pamper night at my palce on saturday night and i need some finger food ideas!!

So far i am having my bacon and egg tarts......and thats it. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

Can you see i am very inspired. Please help

Champers
Choc dipped strawberries
Cheese and cracker platter with figs and grapes
Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate
Stuffed Mushrooms for a savory option are always awesome
Home made gourmet pizza with fetta, rocket etc

Well champers is a mus have..it goes with out saying hehe. The strawberries sound good. Thy are delish atm. Hmmmm. What types of cheese? I only eat the smoked stuff :D so not sure what people like.

Hi Skittles

Lately I have been making the following, it's very yummy and so easy!!!!

You will need:

-A Cobb Loaf (From the bakery) Un-sliced
-A large tin of Creamed Corn
-A small tin of Corn Kernals
-A small pack of bacon
-A small tub of sour cream
-Some grated cheese

Cut the top off the cobb loaf and pull all the soft bread out of the loaf and pull them apart into small pieces (and cut the top up into small pieces also)

U will be left with a bread bowl.

Now mix all the ingredienst in a bowl (cook the bacon first)

Now pour this mixture into your bread bowl.

Place on an oven tray and lie the pieces of bread around the loaf on the tray.

Now put this in the oven until small pieces of bread are browned.

Now u have a very yummy Corn Cobb loaf, use the small pieces of bread to dip into the warm mixture....mmmmmmmmm.

Tip 1. I usually microwave the mixture quickly b4 puring into brad bowl, so u know it will b warm enough.

Tip 2. Once all the dip is gone, u can pull apart the bread bowl! No wastage!!! Yummo!

A good camembert is a must have and a hard cheese like a sweet chilli chedder is always good.

brie, camenburt(i know thats spelt wrong :laughing:), you can get cheese with totamto its a crumbly one with a sharp flavour, cheese and chive swirls,those philly flavours. oh so many cheeses:D

kabana, brie and crackers is nice. you can do a fruit and cheese platter. me and my sister used to do them when we had movie nights. yumm

Ha ha, yeah I make it some nights for myself and DH to share for tea, he is addicted to it, apparantly there is another kind with spinach etc in it, would love to find that recipe too!

I definatley agree with the Cob Loaf Dip:thumbsup::yes:
They are to die for!!!

You can also get great packs of filo's in the frozen food section.... like spinach & ricotta triangles etc...

You can get mixed party packs with a variety of yummy nibbles.... they are so easy, just whack em in the oven & they are done!

I also like to do a chicken platter - i just line a large platter with lettuce leaves then break up a bought roast chook, scatter cheese cubes, kabana, carrot sticks, celery sticks, olives, sundried tomatoes etc over it too!
