Cloth for 18mth old and newborn

Just wondering for those who use cloth for a toddler and a baby - what do you use? I have a bit of everything right now - about a doz BBB's, half a doz GK's and other pockets and a couple of AIO's.

What is easiest when using cloth for two bubs though? I assume its easier to have a single rotation that fits them both (so BBB's and GK's I assume work best) but which of these are the better option? Money-wise it seems that GK's would be better (since we dont need different sized covers) but I can't remember how they both fit a newborn...

I know its only been 15mths, but gosh my memory is a bit foggy!!!

So - tell me - what do you do? :detective:

I'm still trying to figure the same thing out- keep getting conflicting information the more I research it!!

We've got GKs on both a 13-week-old and a 3-year-old and they work fine.

The GKs didn't fit Connor very well for the first 8 weeks. We probably could have put them on him from 4 weeks, but they just didn't look comfortable. we used other MCNs (mostly CK Honeyboys AIOs) for the first 8 weeks and when he started growing out of them (he still fits them - JUST), starting using the GKs. Connor was a big boy born (9lb 10oz) too...They fit him perfectly now.

Claire's on the other spectrum and growing out of them, but we can still manage.

I just had enough BBB's & terry flats for home in the first few weeks as well as some CK's *cough* for going out ... Squeak didnt grow out of them till he was what 6mths or so but then you get great usage when you have a child who loses rather than gains weight :laughing:

For Boof we just had his GK's he has larger sized ones that were specially made for him when he hit 12mths so there was no real choice there but i could squeeze a BBB onto him through the day if i needed to.

The thing is girls tend to wee differently to boys so you may find that little miss needs a different type of nappy or stuffed differently etc. So stick with your work horses & then go from there when she is a little older iykwim.

I adore CK's , Bubblebubs, BP's & PB's on Squeak now cause they just work so well for him ... Would never have worked with Boof :no:

Oh & errr remember you have 2 PUL covers coming your way as well as some flongies ( 1 for Jeddskie & 1 for bubs next year ) & a pair of florties for Jedd also this summer :D
