28 Day Cycle = 14 Day O?

I have been TTC for 2mnth now (I know not that long :p I am impatient LOL). And had my implant removed about 5mnths before that.

Since having it removed I have had perfect 28day cycles consistently...and have been assuming that means I would O on day 14.

So we have been DTD on and around day 14 and so far nothing happening :no: :no: :no:

Is there any chance O happens at any other time than day 14? (teach me fertility 101!!)

you know to be sure you could just DTD every day :laughing:
can't much help you out with this one - but I do know of ppl that ovulate later in their cycle etc. I've always been pretty lucky cause I can feel when I ovulate.

Just because you have 28 day cycles does NOT necessarily mean that you o on cd14.

Do you get EWCM? This is a much better indication of when you are o'ing.

If you arent sure, its best to bd at least every 2nd day (if not every day) between cd10 and cd20 for a 17 day cycle. Then it doesnt really matter when you o, you would have caught that eggie.

I have a 28 day cycle and I checked last month, and yep I did O on day 14. Some people don't O half way through their cycle though, and I guess it's possible to vary from one month to the next. That's why they sell so many OPKs (ovulation predictor kits). You really need to get a OPK to be sure.

I just kinda assumed that I must O on day 14. I have been thinking about temping- but I am hopeless at anything that needs to be done same time every day (DS is a testament to that- PILL and me do no good!!!)

I think I will invest in OPK this month.

I would get some OPK test there cheap of ebay and if you have a 28 day cycle you can start useing them from day 9 of your cycle. They will tell you the day before you ovulate so if you bd on that day and the day after hopefully you`ll have some sucess.

I'm a clockwork gal - 28 day cycle and O on day 13.
Get some opks and test daily from day 9 and then twice daily on days 12, 13,14 until you catch the surge?
And at the first showing of egg white cm go for it and keep going!
