Hello BubHub mums!

Hi Everyone!

I am a newcomer to BubHub! I recently had a babygirl and would love to meet new mums. I`ve been living in Australia for almost 3 years, in Brisbane, Paddington. I speak only russian with my daughter, but worried a bit that growing in english speaking society she won`t speak russian well enough. I would appreciate if anyone in a similar situation shares their experience and thoughts with me. I was also wondering if there are any russian speaking mums who would like to organise a playgroup on a regular base. Please feel free to contact me on svetlana_zhdanova@hotmail.com

hi Svetlana and welcome to Bub Hub. Do you know the Russian Nesting Doll shop at Oxley called Matryoshkasand more? I love that place so many beautiful pieces. I'm not Russian but I have an interest in the history especially Tsarist Russia.

Thank you, I`ve heard about that Matreshka shop, but never been there. If you are interested in Russian history I could reccomend a couple of films for you to watch. (there are lots of them in Russian, but I know a couple with english subtitles). Do you mind me to ask why Russian history? :)
