View Full Version : Preg with Twins & miserable
Hi, I'm new here and thought I'd take a punt and leave a message.
I live in Melbourne and am pregnant for the second time... with twins!!
at 25 weeks, I still have morning sickness 24/7. I expect it to last the 9 mths as that's what it was like with my DD (now 5.5).
I am experiencing terrible hip and back aches, which hamper my movements and especially my sleep.
Having regular dizzy spells and even passing out, so rarely leave the house.
Diagnosed with Pre-natal depression (do you blame a woman for being depressed).
Just wondering if there are any other mums that have found pregnancy hard. Because at this point I dream of having these babies as early as possible for my sanity. And feel very guilty for having these feelings. I'm just so sick of feeling sick!!
I have a supportive family and husband, but they can't seem to pick me up.
Just looking for some support and friendship along this looooong miserable journey.
**HUGS** to you all, especially the pregnant ones.
Mara

I just wanted to say hello and welcome.
I feel for you on having a twin pregnancy, I was so achy and tired and just wanted it over by time I reached 25 weeks! But thankfully I never had morning sickness, you poor thing
By tme I got to 32 weeks, and knew survival rate after 32 weeks was like way over 90%, I wanted to beg for an induction! (sorry not what you want to hear really is it) I got to 37 weeks, and had to be induced as they were happy to stay put, but my OB didnt like twins going past 37 weeks.
I would be rather concerned about the dizzy spells, even more so the actual passing out, but I do recal I got dizzy very often, like I wanted to pass out, but never got to that stage. Low iron contribuited to that, but I had even lower iron levels with my DD and never got as dizzy. I mentioned it to the Dr, but blood pressure, etc was always fine, so I was told to take it easy, and get up reall slow, and not to stand to long either.
phew, what a long post.
Anyway, hope that you enjoy it here and can get some support.
Chin up, you're over half way there, take one day at a time.
