Spots

I have just noticed small faint red spots on the stomach of my 2 month old DD.

She appears fine, happy and content. The spots aren't raised, dont appear to be ichy and are really quite small. There is only about 15 - 20 around her stomach area.

I have to get her immunised tomorrow also.

Does anyone have any idea what they may be and whether I can still get her needles tomorrow?

Any advice is much appreciated.

im probobly not going to be much help at all here??
But they could be some form of heat rash, or even a rash caused by irritation of clothing..etc??

I Agree with Jem, its probably just a heat rash. My DD got them alot at that age and still does get them every now and then.

She should be fine to get her needles tomorrow. The Dr will check her out before hand anyway.

My lad had a similiar one, coincidently it also appeared the day prior to vac's.
My lovely doctor said it was more than likely a viral rash - reaction to a bug he was successfully fighting.
He had no other symptoms, but she delayed needles for a week, so as to not compromise his immune system, if in fact he was fighting a virus.
Your GP will check it out tomorrow no doubt, but as for all rashes, I would keep an eye on it.

my DS gets this when it its hot. i was told it was a heat rash. and it cleared up within a few days. it seemed to bother me way more then him coz he didnt even notice them lol :laughing:
