At my friends funeral yesterday, my heart absolutly broke when I saw her mother arrive to the funeral, in tears. The heartbreak I felt for this poor woman was just unbeleivable, the pain of having to bury your own child is something I can not even begin to imagine, and I hope to never have to do so. It is my worst fear.
Just wanted to give a big :hugs: to everyone who has lost a child.

I'm also sorry to hear about your friend, and offer massive :hugs: to anyone who has lost a child. It is my greatest fear too!

My 4 year old nephew died many years ago now, but his funeral was the saddest thing I have ever experienced in my life, and I will never forget the sound his mother made when they lowered his coffin into the ground :(. It was just a gutwrenching, heart breaking cry that just makes me shudder, even now, when I think about it.

:hugs: to anyone who has ever lost a child, something I can not even imagine the pain they would feel.

My DF's cousin killed herself, and at her funeral he said the cry of her mother broke him down, and it still haunts him :(

I too have lost a child although she never breathed. For me the most heartbreaking sight was DH's face when he picked up her tiny coffin after the ceremony, there was not a dry eye there. I never want to see that look in my honey's face again . He said afterwards that he had dreamed of walking his little girl down the aisle but not like that.

I still go into my little man's room to check that he is ok 3-4 times a night, I don't suppose he will appreciate that in a few years but right now it seems to help.

My heart goes out to all who have suffered the pain of losing one of their babies, no matter what age they are. :hugs::kiss::hugs:
