Hi lovely Jan Mumies :)
I thought I would conduct a poll to see who has and who hasn't felt movements from their bub yet. Please answer the poll question, then write below if your answer is YES, please write when you first felt them, and if your answer is NO, please write down how many weeks you currently are.
I am such a stress head but I am 18 weeks and I just dont feel pregnant, it is making me sad :(
If I was feeling things I am sure that would kicked me into realtiy that yes I am indeed up the duff! So please complete the poll as I am intersted as to when we all first started feeling movements. Thanks all :)

Being my first (Currently 20wks) , I'm not entirely sure about movements. But bub was active during the ultrasound and also while I was at docs yesterday while doc was trying to find the heartbeat. I'm happy with that at the moment. But I'm still a little worried about it.

As this bub is my second I knew what the flutters felt like immediately. I've felt the flutters for a few weeks.
The placenta is on the front wall of my uterus so I've felt squirming for a few weeks but no kicks as yet. I'm currently 21 weeks.

DH finally felt them last night. She is letting me know she is truly there...and turns very quickly and kicks one side than the other...and the odd head butt if i cross my legs :D

This is my second bub and I have felt some movement since 14 weeks. Could also be coz I was pregnant with #2 five months after ds1 was born so it is very recent!!
I am now 21 weeks and feeling lots of little kicks and squirms. Mostly this is once I sit down at night after dinner watching TV and when I go to bed. I found the same happened with ds1.
Hope you can all feel your bubbas moving soon! Soon enough you will want them to stop kicking you!! :D

First felt flutters around 2 or 3 weeks ago I think, but certainly not everyday....
Now, at 2 days from 19 weeks, I can feel squirming, and the occasional 'pop' (kick?), and I have felt them every day for the last 4 days.... This is my 4th baby though...

Have felt a few flutters in the last week or so, but nothing other than that.
My placenta is also on the front wall of my uterus... so cushions the kicks apparently.

Have been feeling baby moving since around 10-12 weeks...in fact, my diary says the first day was 23 June, so that puts it at 12 weeks. But this is baby #3 & placenta is at the top of the uterus, so feeling a lot of movement compared to the other pregnancies (last one was anterior placenta right in the middle of the front wall, so felt less movement).

If you are not feeling any movements .....Just a suggestion (already shared with KirstyB)
It worked with my DS
Hold earphones up to your stomach (both on one side) and play some music.... then move them to the other side.
DS used to follow the sound around and I played him music almost every day .. Have been a little slack with this one but will start doing it (I promise) from today on :)

I actually started feeling flutters and bubbles from 12 weeks on, definitely movement from 15 weeks though.
I am now 21 weeks and he doesn't stop, I can even feel the kicks on the outside lol.
With my first bub I felt nothing until 19 weeks, then it all came at once.

This did work a treat:thumbsup:
I felt first flutters around 14 weeks
I am now 21 weeks 3 days & am starting to get some serious kicks & jabs. And this has only been happening in past week or so.
I spoke to my OB about this on Wednesday as i was a bit concerned too - he said that by "text book" you dont usually feel anything distinct until 22-23 weeks. But remember hun - no two pregnancy are the same!
Before you know it your bubba will be karate chopping the hell out of you!:D

I first felt the flutters on the 6th august (i know this cuz i was at a friends place and we were hunched over tucking into some KFC lol)
Hubby felt her move yesterday morning in bed which was awesome.
Now i am feeling her move and roll around pretty much throughout the day but no real distinct kicks/jabs yet. Just rolly polly lol.

Maybe I was feeling it earlier but wasn't recognising it. It surprises me when it happens.

Hi I am 18wk 1 day, and I have felt my baby move for about 2 weeks or so. That would make it around 16 weeks, when I first felt it. This is my first pregnancy. :)

As this is my first bub it took some time to establish wether it was actually the baby moving or not from about 17 weeks... but it definatly is! especially at night and after i drink icy cold water!
We had our 19 week scan today and found out our bub was a little boy!!!:yelclap:
But but the amount of movement it made in there no wonder ive been feeling it! little terror
Goodluck with all your pregnancies xxx

Thank you all for sharing your experiences ladies. I am 18w 5d and still no movements... I do feel alot of gas movement, but that ends up coming out if you know what i mean :o
I did however purchase a Doppler from ebay which arrrived today. It is an Angelsounds doppler and cost me $70. As soon as I saw it had arrived today in the post, I ripped open the box and tried it out ASAP as you can imagine. After 30 secs or so of moving it around... there it was.... wob wob wob wob wob wob (Excuse the silly heart beat sounds ) . It was SO reassuring to hear bubs heart beat! I may not be feeling anything yet, but at least I know that all sounds well! I highly recommend this product ladies for anyone who is a bit of a stresser like myself! Well worth the $69 and I have this for the whole pregnancy if I ever feel worried etc. I also counted the heart rate and it at approx 155 bpm. So this has me thinking I am having a girl???!!!!!
