Hello!
Just wandering who will be trying at the end of the year?
MilkOnTap
02-05-2006, 09:43
I will! Simply cause thats when my hubby gets home
He hopefully gets home in September, so we are going to have a couple of months to ourselves and then start charting and OPK's again in December or so... I cant wait!! :smiliedance:
I may well be although I hope by then I will already be pregnant... I went off the Pill 2 months ago and I am not Ovulating yet....

I am starting TTC at the end of 2006....dont know when, maybe November/ December. DS is only 9 months old so I want him to be a bit older first. :)
I am going to buy a Maybe Baby in the next few weeks and have started using a cream that helps me to ovulate. :)
Will start the vitamins and charting once I have the Maybe Baby. :)
I hope to be pregnant by the end of the year but knowing my luck I will probably be here too

Hi Simone
Just out of curiosity, what cream are you using?
MilkOnTap
03-05-2006, 17:12
Oh - you probably all know already (cause of my over-excited threads) that hubby is going to be home in 3 months! YAY! So that means I'm off to the chemist tomorrow to get some folate, vitex and vitamins to get my body into tip-top baby making condition :D
I cant wait for him to get home and we can begin trying again!
Hokey Pokey
03-05-2006, 18:16
I've heard alot about this vitex, what is it exactly?
LittleBoysRock
04-05-2006, 12:07
Oliva&BellasMummy,
The cream I am using is called Subvene also called Endau, it is made from Chasteberry. It is sold by Neways and is wonderful. I have PCOS and was told I would never have a child and that my ovaries needed to be removed.
I used the subvene and 3 months later I was pregnant with DS. It is magic stuff!! I have just started using it again to restore a hormonal balance to my system so I start ovulating again. I know somebody that I buy it from in Perth but I think you maybe able to get it from this site: www.healthandsunshine.com/
Vitex is taken to stimulate the pituitary gland, which regulates the balance of estrogen and progesterone in the body. It helps to regulate ovulation and helps with conception- apparently. I found I good site by doing a google search this morning. www.susunweed.com/Article_Vitex_RedMoonHerbs.htm
Hopefully this helps! I am going to try everything to get ready for baby #2. :)
Hokey Pokey
04-05-2006, 12:46
thanks for that!
So do you take the vitex in a liquid or pill form as well as that cream?

I would like to start trying at the end of the year...probably round Nov/Dec, depending of if we get the reno's finished on this house. We want to have it ready for selling by December...and then :fingerscrossed: start TTC. I would love to be pregga's and have the baby by Nov 2007:fingerscrossed:

Does anybody know how to use the fertility friend website?? It looks quite complex but I havent gone through it properly.

Can someone please tell me what the fertility friend website is? Ooh I'm not even trying yet and I'm getting excited!!!:smiliedance:
Oooh - this is exciting :smiliedance:
We are planning on TTC #2 at the end of the year - DH wants to try now  but I don't think I could cope with that physically or mentally (DS is only 4 months), so December it is. Can't wait - I'm so clucky already!
What is everyone doing to prepare themselves? I'm not doing anything at the moment, will probably wait till September before starting on the folic acid, monitoring my cycle etc but I would love to hear what everyone else is doing and when. Last time we just flew by the seat of our pants :D but this time I'd like to plan a bit more carefully.
Looking forward to sharing the journey with you all!

I think I am obessed with trying for a baby...hope I can wait until the end of the year. DS is only 9 months!
I started taking the Vitex but nothing is happening yet. I havent had AF since 9th March and I am not pregnant (done 2 HPT). Just wanting AF to arrive so I can start tracking using fertility Friend asap.
I want to track at least 2 full cycles before trying as I would really like to try for a girl this time and you have to have sex at just the right time.
When is everybody else trying?? What month?
Hi all,
Monyfelix - I know what you mean about being obsessed - I was contemplating buying a couple of pregnancy mags yesterday even though it's going to be months before I need them! We bought a new stroller yesterday and made sure it was one you can clip a toddler seat on to so we won't have to get another one when #2 is on the way. DH wanted to buy the toddler seat then and there but I'm too paranoid about jinxing ourselves and wouldn't let him :o
Can someone tell me a bit more about Vitex? I've never heard of it - what does it do?
We're planning on trying in December but I'm so clucky that it might end up being November...
I also want to try for a girl, but our chances are pretty slim as there hasn't been a girl born in DH's family since 1830 apparently  I've heard there's a special diet you can go on to help with this - does anyone know anything about it?
Hi
If I can join in...My husband and I are TTC in early August.
Am very excited/scared/etc. :smiliedance:
Since it is exactly 3 months before TTC date I should get my act together re; folate and stuff.
Am starting to wonder if a pre-TTC doctor's appointment is truly neccessary

Welcome Layla!
I guess a check up can't hurt, but if you are in good health I don't think it is "neccessary" JMO
We are trying after the wedding which is 25 November 2006!
I am tracking my cycles now on CD 16 but fertility friend has not yet detected whenI ovulated or if I even have yet
I tried Fertility Friend for awhile...but once my free trial of the deluxe version ran out I found I couldn't understand the charts and stuff. So now I am using this; http://www.mymonthlycycles.com

Do a search on this forum and the web for "gender selection", "choosing the sex of your baby" or "shettles"
I suggest if you are serious about trying for a boy to get the book written by Shettles (and some other guy) called Choosing the sex of your baby. I got a copy the other day (we want to try for a boy) and its only about $23 from most major book shops.
Here is a link to get you started: :D
http://**********.com.au/articles/conception/shettles-method
Oh and apparently there can be something with either you or your partner to dictate a high number of births of one gender. For the women it is mainly due to the ph balance of the vagina i believe (you can do douches to help with this but best under Dr 'supervision/direction'). Shettles explains all of this in his book. I cant recall the reason a man may produce higher numbers of one type of sperm, throughout family trees, that is....

if anyone is interested i have a chart that helps to predict what sex your baby will be based on the month of conception and the mothers age at the time of conception. if you want to pm me with your details i will let you know what it is you are having (99% accuratly?) and for the ones who aren't pregnant yet but want a certain sex i can let you know the best months for trying. it is unbelievably accurate. everyone i have tested it on has turned out to be true. i think i am now up to about 15 people (including myself.)

Ohh fun!!
If I conceive in Late Nov (after 25th ) or anytime Dec (I will be 23 then) what will ?I have?
Hi Layla - welcome and good luck. I bet you can't wait until August!
NicoleE - thanks for the info, I'll take a look at the link when I have time
Billie&Beth - I've heard about those charts - can I ask where you got yours from? If I got pg in December 06 or Jan 07 what would I have??? What would be the best months for me to conceive a girl from Nov 06 onwards? I'll be 28 by then. I'll be perfectly happy if we get a boy, but I would love a girl and it would be fun to be the first to break the family 'curse' (and one in the eye for my MIL :p )

Billie&beth,
That sounds very interesting, I would LOVE to have a girl this time and I am 23 this year (in 2 days actually). What month between now and the end of the year is best for me to TTC??
Looks like there is quite a few of us now TTC at the end of the year! :smiliedance:

Good question!! How about some baby chit-chat....Is anybody trying to concieve a certain sex over another?? I would really like a girl so I need to track my cycles to make sure we have BD before ovulation.
And we have a name picked for a girl but not for a boy.
Has anybody decided whether to find out what they are having once pregnant?? I found out the DS and want to try and wait with #2.
Hokey Pokey
09-05-2006, 18:32
We would love a boy!!
And this time I want a suprise! My first was a suprise, second we found out and seeming this is the last (when it comes LOL see I am thinking ahead now!) we will keep it a suprise!
Girl would be nice but honestly happy with either for our first...will try for the opposite sex for 2nd I think.
I have 2 months and 28 days left to wait!
Things to pass the time...hmmm :detective:
Well we'd like a boy as we have a girl already but happy with either :D
And we'll find out at the scan just like we did with the first :)

What names have we thought of for when we do conceive?
LittleBoysRock
11-05-2006, 11:15
If we have a girl which I am really hoping for....her name will be Ruby Erin. Ruby was my grandmothers name and it is really important to me that I use it as we were very close. :hugs:
For a boy we dont have a name picked but his middle name will be Benjamin after my little brother. He is 18 and we are very close, He is an excellent uncle to DS and I would love to use his middle name as DS#2's middle name if we have a boy.
How about everybody else??
Hmmm... good question.
If DS had been a girl he would have been called Isabelle Gwen (Gwen was my beloved Nana's name) so maybe we would use that name again if we have a girl next time. As far as boys go, I like Liam, Oliver and Charlie - for a girl, if we didn't go with Isabelle maybe Olivia, Ava or Atahlia.
Will probably end up being none of these - with DS none of the names on our shortlist suited him but he just looked like a Jasper so that's what we ended up with!
I'm not sure if we'll find out the sex this time around - we didn't with DS, but as this will probably be our last (unless I can convince DH to go for a third round) I wouldn't mind knowing so I can buy pink things if it's a girl :smiliedance: and if it's a boy, get my head around the idea of having a house full of males

I want to start tracking my cycles but I havent had AF since 9th March and not pregnant (have done 2 tests). I am hoping AF arrives soon!! I even started taking Vitex to try and speed things up a bit....still nothing.
Oh well, I can't wait to start tracking. DS is 1 in July so we might start trying in August/ September....not sure yet.

I'm with you Monyfelix - cept I cant begin cause hubby aint home yet! lol - I guess that helps. I have began folate and Vitex again to get my bod back on track though.
Names? Still have the dilemma over whether or not we will use the names we chose out last time when we lost the bub (other thread in Support after Preg Loss). Hmm - I would still LOVE to use the names that we chose out - Sarah Louise (Louise is my Mothers middle name) and Harry Robert (Robert is Grants middle name and FIL's first name)
But then I have began to really love the name Jack and I found out last night that my great grandfathers name was Jack... Hmmm - very interesting!

Heya Ladies,
My DH and i have talking about TTC sometime soon....arghh...not sure when.
I'm curious about the whole preparing for TTC. I've read through the thread and taken note on some of the vitamins and creams.
But i'm curious about the cycle information. With our first, we just went gun ho. I feel pregnant the first month. I was aware of the cycle and the best times to conceive. I desperately wanted a boy the first time, so we tried a few boy methods. I have to say though...it seems that boys are easier to conceive?
I am interested in finding out about the cycle and relating it to conceiving a girl.
How do you know if you are ovulating? How does charting work?
Sorry if some of these questions have been answered already.
Mrs Little & Son.
i will be ttc in october.:fingerscrossed: and i cant wait.:yelclap:
Well we just can't make up our minds when we will try lol..I am not on any form on BC now only 5 weeks from having Eliza and EB feeding so even though that is not a reliable method we're sticking with it lol what ever happens happens. Although have to be careful for the next 6 weeks as I had a c/section and they told us to wait at least 12 weeks after that.
Names my gosh had enough trouble the first time that can soooo wait lol

16-05-2006, 15:48
Hi Mrs Little, they do say it is harder to get a girl because you need to try a few days before ovulating.
Take a look at www.fertilityfriend.com you can get more info on how to chart etc.

Not too sure if we will be ttc at the end of the year........I can't make my mind up! With DD we thought we'd have baby #2 close but we have seemed to have changed our minds. I have just started back at work part time and that was a hassle to get my work to agree to that, so I think they'd spit if I told them I was preggers again. Plus it took such a while to concieve DD I am thinking we should try now and it'll probably happen when I am ready for #2. I am so confused.

I've actually been thinking of putting off TTC until September/October. It's weird, last month when I thought I was pregnant, I wanted a bub now NOW NOW!!.
But now we are planning our wedding for the 3rd time, just DF, celebrant, two mates and I. Which will in involve a night on the town. It will be in August, so i'm really thinking of TTC after the wedding.
I think it's for the best... best of luck ladies

Welcome !!
Just wondering what made you guys decide to ttc at the end of the year.
Is it to do with the time of the year the bubs will be born or other reasons?
I am just kicking around some ideas at the moment.
If the bubs was born in september then probably wouldn't emerge from the house until six weeks later anyway and it wont be so jolly cold when getting up for feeds etc. Also when they are older having bday parties etc.
Or is it more for other reasons???

We have decided to TTC around the end of 2006 as DS was born in July 2005 and we think an 18 month to 2 year age gap between babies would be nice.
I loved having a winter baby last time (as I could rug him up and cuddle him). So I wouldnt mind a winter baby but I am not worried really. I dont think I would like to be hugely pregnant in summer either!! :p

Breeannasmum Just wondering what made you guys decide to ttc at the end of the year.
I'm going to be TTC at the end of the year for a few reasons. first, I don't want to be heavily pregnant in summer (I live in Rocky Qld). I'm (finally)getting married in August, and I'd like to try for a June/July bub, between DF birthday and mine.
And I really feel I should be in a good job for the experience and maternity leave as well, even though I want to be a SAHM for more than 3 months or whatever they let you have these days...
Are any of you guys off contraception yet? I've been off the pill since Jan, but DF isnt always home when I ovulate, so I haven't fallen yet...

Hi
I just not thrilled with the thought of being a caged animal because I can't get out the house for a walk or go to the shops because it's too cold or raining. In those first few weeks I am dying just to get out.
I am probably just worrying too much but I keep thinking about their birthdays entertaining etc when it's freezing- note I am in Adelaide:gloomy:
Perhaps I'll just have to move to QLD;)

i do worry about the poor little bugger having birthday in winter, my birthday is in august, and i remember not being able to have pool/outdoor parties :crying:
I will probably TTC after August, may not fall straight away anyways.... and I'm really selfish, I dont want bub's birthday too close to mine.
OMG that sounds really selfish...

Perhaps I will just have to take bubs to a heated indoor pool:D
I feel like the end of the year would be the best time but I just see how things go.
I really do love babies and kids through. Everyday Breeanna makes me laugh with her antics. My sister's having a baby at the end of the year perhaps she will let me have a cuddle sometimes. Though this might make any clucky feelings worse:D

Hey Girls,
I just wanted to slip in and let you know that DP and I will be TTC no. 1 around September/October. We are waiting for a couple of reasons:
1. Finances eg loans
2. Obligations eg we are going on a house boat end February next year and I dont want to be heavily pregnant
3. Would prefer to have a winter/spring baby if it works out that way
4. DP should be settled into his new job by then
We were planning to start this month but decided to wait.
Look forward to getting to know you all better!

I have just had some bad news regarding TTC #2.
I have PCOS and havent had a period since 9/3/06, I went to the Dr this afternoon and she said I have to wait until it has been 4 months with no AF before they do anything. I have to have blood tests tomorrow to check my hormone levels and an ultrasound to scan my pelvis and ovaries.
She said they might want to start me on fertility drugs....
I am just really scared that TTC is going to be a lot harder than we imagined! :crying:
Sorry just had to vent a bit and you girls will understand as you all want to TTC too.

I am terrifyed I wont concieve as easily as I did the first time. Or that I will MC.
That's probably not going to help the situation.
I know of couples that have been trying for months to years:(
I should be thankful I have one healthy bubba. If it is meant to be for Breeanna to have a sibling then I guess it will happen for us at the right time.
My philosiphy throughout the preg was to just take it as it comes. That seemed to get me through and help me to relax.

Ally, are you taking vitex now? I just started on the blackmores ones...
Hi ya'll
Yes - I'm on Vitex though I ran out last night and bought a new DIFFERENT one today. Apparantly its potent! Its by a brand called 'Flordis' and its called 'Premular'. Each tablet is equivalent to 180mg of the agnus-castus fruit. What are the blackmores equivalent? I threw out my old bottle before I had a chance to compare! I'll let you know how it goes
It was recommended to me by a herbalist at my local chemist. She also recommended an acupuncturist in the city - apparantly this particular doctor has quite a good success rate.. I'm considering making an appointment for the end of July. Grant is home on the 10th of August, so I figure if I see her just before he gets home.. not sure - anyone else here tried/considering trying acupuncture?

I reckon that is a GREAT philosophy to take with you while you are TTC again... Apparantly stress can inhibit ovulation - so its actually vital that you RELAX... No pressure or anything though :D

HI Girls..
I never took any vitamins or tablets....we fell pregnant in the first month of TTCing.
What is it exactly that these tablets do? How do they help you to conceive?
I'm wondering if i should wait till we start TCCing in a few months and if it doesn't happen...then trying the tablets. What do people suggest from their experinces?

Basically I am taking the vitex to help my body become a bit more regular with my periods. I have been all over the show for a while now!
Mrs Little
07-06-2006, 15:51
i thought taking the pill would do that? Are vitex expensive?
Where do u buy them from?

Yeah the pill can help but I don't need to take the pill. (We use condoms)
Mine were about $11.00 for 60 tablets!
Well they must be doing something bcos my FF chart FINALLY picked up Ovulation and on day 15 sooo hopefully my period will come around 28 days and not the usual 32-36 days!!

I would like to, if i can get over the fear of labour again, and my fear of being inimate with my partner, i would really like damien to have a brother or sister, but i dont think im ready yet, but the age gap would be great, if we did!
Well I guess we have started early lol, as I am exclusively breastfeeding and AF hasn't returned so gotta start early as we have no way of really knowing when the little egg is floating around! lol the midwive has told us we have a 60% of conceiving.
I actually have symptoms of AF but she never shows!
I am still just taking my Elevits :D
I use to take vitex for my PMS it was wonderful!
Just to let you know I am thinking of you all and hope to chat to you all more as the time comes closer.
I can't wait to TTC I am so impatient!!
I am counting back for when I need to start taking vitamins etc.
Lets be positive and start planning.

Welcome Seejay Elle
Just popping in to say hello :)
Im very excited about starting to TTC as its been a long time waiting. Finding it hard to concentrate at work as I keep thinking about finances and how we will cope and sometimes I think we should wait a bit longer (next year?) but i figure there's never a perfect time so Im going to stick to my guns and start TTC in October. Besides we wont be too badly off financially just worries me a little.
Although DP refuses to admit it, i think a small part of him is a little bit excited.
Counting down and only 8 weeks til I stop taking my pill and start watching my cycles before TTC in October!
Wish all of you the best of luck for your TTC journey and look forward to joining you in the pregnancy groups! :D
Hello every1,
I've only just found this post after starting one!
Great that its already here though, hope you dont mind if I jump in here with you all too!
Like everyone else I'm very excited about ttc towards the end of the yr too:yes: Hopefully Sept, once we get the okay from my Ob we'll be in there and trying again.
Atm just had a mc so I'm still waiting to go through the whole process naturally - then my hcg levels will be monitored by my Ob til they have decreased.
Thats all we're waiting on!
Sounds straight forward but can take forever:thumbsdown: Well it seems that way to me anyway!
Vitex sounds really interesting though. Anyone know of anything that can help make the bubs stick?
I've heard a smallish dose of aspirin might help. Anyone else heard of this. I think I'll need all the help I can get for the next one. Haven't had much luck lately:-(
Take care,
:D

If I'm not pregnant now (will test next week) then I've been told by my doctor to but TTC on hold for 3 months, so I will be TTC again in October.
I will be joining in here too. I wanna start TTC as soon as we have our home loan approved and our house starts being built which could be next month, but i think i should hold off till after Joshy's 1st birth in Nov and hopefully Dec our house will be built. So we shall wait and see, but it will be definately by Dec we will be TTC our baby # 2 :D I can't wait and want a baby now, but am also still BF, so not sure what the chances are anyways. Also, think i have only just got AF back since i had Josh in Nov last year (i only think cause it was only very very light) But think it may have been AF! lol. So :fingerscrossed:
Hi everyone
Just wondering how things are going. How you are feeling.
The year is passing so quickly!!
Are you all madly popping those vitamins?
It certainly is the right time to be BDing - good time to snuggle up and keep warm!
I am just still seeing how things go as to when we will start trying.
Bubbas teething at the moment so we are just coping with that at this stage.
Hey Ladies,
Just popping in to catch up and find out where everyone is up to? Have we had an early pregnancies? I know a few of the girls in here were going to start TTC around August.
Has anyone started TTC earlier than expected?
DP has softened heaps since the last time I posted and is actually a little excited about TTC #1. Ive officially stopped taking the pill but we're not planning on actively TTC until October but as DP has said 'if it happens, it happens'.
Im really excited as its becoming so real and I cant wait to see the two lines and watch my belly grow and go mad buying baby things!!
Goodluck with TTC!!
Meg
Hi MegAct
I am here.
How great for you Meg!
It adds to it when DPs are interested. Sometimes it can be hard for the fellas to get excited about the baby. They all show it in different ways - my hubby came to 95% of the appointments and helped out where he could. He did have the connection with the bubs until she came out.
Is your DP taking anything to make healthy swimmers?

Hi Ladies,
How is everybody going with the TTC preparation??
I have some very exciting news!! DH and I decided last night that we can't wait until the end of the year to TTC so we are starting now!! YAY!!:smiliedance:
I think it will take some time but that's ok!
Goodluck everybody with your TTC journeys! :fingerscrossed:
Count me into this little group girls, DH said yes!!!!!!!!
I hopefully will be pg before the end of the year, but having said that I haven't even come off the pill yet so small baby steps for us!!
Good luck everybody ttc!!!:fingerscrossed:
so now how do i convince DP to bring forward TTC he said last night 2020!!!! (he better have been joking)
Just nag the hell out of him like I did my DH, he will say yes just to shut you up!!!!!!!!!!!!! A tear or two wouldn't hurt either!!!:D lol
Good luck ttc, hope it is sooner than 2020!!!!:fingerscrossed:
 but ill get it out of him yet!!:p
You go girl !!!!!!!!!:D
Just nag the hell out of him like I did my DH, he will say yes just to shut you up!!!!!!!!!!!!! A tear or two wouldn't hurt either!!!:D lol
Funny you say that because ive been talking about TTC no. 1 for 12 months and only now has DP softened and is happy about the idea.....
Cel, I got the same reaction from my DP when I talked about TTC. I think nagging DH every now and again doesnt hurt!! Goodluck! :yelclap:
There is probably some misterious thread out there about how to get the fellas to make healthy swimmers.
Does anyone know what the deal is? I think Zinc is the main one.
My DH will be put on a "nothing artifical" diet. He is already on that but is having some resistance. I found out one of the lovely additives in diet soft drink is addictive:eek:
Next month we might go on the multivitamins - not to say we will TTC at the end of the year for sure yet. We will remain optimistic!!!
As for the vaccinations - I am up to date from the last preg. After bubs was off breastmilk, I did go and get my chicken pox vacc though.
Happy baby making to mumof4butistillwantmore, cel, Monyfelix and MegACT.
ok so its not concrete but...........DP said to me last night to sort myself out with private health cover etc and start preparing!!!!!!
yay yay yay yay
WOO HOO!!! :smiliedance: :yelclap: :smiliedance: :yelclap:
Are any of you girls doing anything now to get you prepared (taking vitamins, doing charts etc?)
We will be starting ttc after next AF (around 20th Sep) so as of end of September we will be baby dancing like crazy! LOL. I currently have my August AF.
I am tracking my temps at fertility friend and have been tracking my cycles for a few months now, but my temp only since last month, this month will be my first full cycle of temps. I have been taking Elevit also for last month and also having my fish oil/primrose oil/flaxseed oil capsule and reading lotsa info about conveiving to help me be as ready as I can!
I am sooooooooooo excited!!! Only a month away till trying!! :smiliedance: yeah baby!!

Still trying to decide when to start TTC#2... Was thinking around December, but don't know if I want to wait that long... My SIL (to-be) had a little boy yesterday, and I am so clucky...
October is starting to look really and if it happens straight away like with DS, that would mean a July baby... I could handle that :)
Haven't really spokent to DH about starting sooner, he has lots on his plate, work related, at the moment and I know if I bring it up now he will say No...
Might start back on the folate soon... What else is good to take?
Have just started TTC#1 this month (August). Am very nervous and excited! On the TWW now, and have done hopefully enough BDing to do the trick! After 15 years of trying to dodge pregnancy, now I am really hoping that all will work the way they told us in high-school (i.e. sit on a toilet seat and you'll be pregnant). If all goes well, then we would be due in May 07. DH is excited, but sick of me already! ;) :fingerscrossed:

:fingerscrossed: you get your BFP this month Marlie, but don't get too down if you don't. I learnt quickly that its not always that easy, even if everything is in working order. I remember my first month off the pill - I was sure I'd get p/g straight away, and I think that first disappointment was quite a shock. Now I'm used to it!!! I can relate to you about the 15 years of dodging pregnancy. If I knew it was this difficult to get p/g, I needed have bothered worrying about it!!! Good luck to you for a short TTC journey!!

Thanks chicken - I am trying to remain sensible and prepare myself for a BFN, but it is so hard to not get excited! It is such a strange thing to make the commitment to want to have a baby - and SO weird to be actively BDing to make it happen. I would have had a heart attack if I became p/g 5 years ago, even though I have always wanted to have kids. Tis great to have found this forum and to "speak" to others that are TTC. I haven't told too many of my friends/family, just in case it takes us ages and they keep wondering/asking. Anyways, enough of my :ecomcity: :ecomcity: ing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And thanks for the :fingerscrossed:
- he wants me to pay out all my debt around $10 000 before we TTC NOT HAPPY JAN
My hubby started that in the beginning. First it was when we get a bit more money in the bank, then it was when he gets a bit more work lined up (he runs his own business), then it was when I lose a bit more weight, then the other day it was when he finishes TAFE. So on and so on!
I ended up just going bannanas at him and told him to stop making excuses. In the end he said he was just testing me out to see whether or not I really wanted another one or I was just clucky :banghead: He then said to jump into bed to start BD. OMG! sometimes I could just throttle him!!! I think in away I aready have 5 kids (including him!)

Hi guys
So happy to announce that we will be TTC#2 in Nov! Yay!!!!!!! We are going to start when we go on holidays overseas, we are leaving on the 27th Nov so only 93 days to go!!!! Have only just started to chart etc. Not too sure how to work the charts sites thingies. Have decided to try the My Monthly Cycles, as I could make no sense of FF.:banghead: I am on regular dietry suppliments, but am looking into getting some vitex. DP would be happy if my PMS went away! LOL I have been a psycho once a month since having DS!!!
cel - Has DP given you reasons why he wants to get rid of the debt before TTC?
Brions mum - you are have counted the days ?:D

Hope everyone is going well! My vitamin suppliments are starting to kick in, I have more energy nowadays! YAY!
Seejay - Hell yeah I'm counting the days! 91 to go!
Oh yeah - I was working out a rough estimate of when I will be ovulating when I am on holiday, and the lousy little egg will be coming the day we fly out!!! Hmmm maybe I will have to encourage DP to join the mile high club???!!! Wonder if flight attendents babysit???
Looking forward to getting to know you gals! Let's hope it's a fun ride!
* for a bit of hope for the gals who's other halfs are trying to backpedal AQAP.....My DP did that for a yr! He didn't want any kids at all, then I fell preg on the pill. He then said that DS would be it, and now he has agreed to 2 only...Yeah right!
Hi Brions_mum we are going to try in November , getting married on the 4th and expect to ovulate the following week, really hoping for a honeymoon baby!
We have been trying for the past 4 months or so but have now stopped so that I am not sufferring morning sickness in the lead up do and on the day of the Wedding.

Hi there
This is my first post and all very new to me - so please excuse my ignorance!
We just got married in June and will start TTC from this month! We are off to Mauritius in 2 weeks for our best friend's wedding and a bit of a 2nd honeymoon. We have been wanting to wait until after our trip before TTC as i didn't really want to be travelling and pregnant.
I have been off the pill for nearly a year now, my cycle is spot on 28 days, periods are fine, GP check all good.
We have been trying to just "go with the flow" for the time being and just see what happens before trying too much!

A few of my friends have gone by this chinese calendar where the sex is determined by the month of conception and the age you are when you give birth. It has been right in 99.9% of cases! I can email it to you if you like?
Hi,
I'm a newbie and am very excited that it's getting close to the time for TTC#1 in November.
I'm a bit nervous about it how well it will go. I have one sister who gets pregnant at the drop of a hat, even when she doesn't want to, and another who has been through the whole infertility/IVF gauntlet, still with no success.
Still, I'm definitely hoping for the best and doing everything I can to give us the best possible chances: charting, multivitamins, fish oil, even got DH wearing boxers! I've read so many books, I think I'll stop now, so that I will relax about it all and let nature take it's course. Let's just hope it's a speedy, trouble-free course for all of us.
I've never noticed so many pregnant women and babies before. It's like I'm totally surrounded.
hCounting down the days!
Cheers.

Hi Egall
It sounds like we're in the same boat, but I haven't started reading books yet.
I am taking folic acid and very good care of myself. My sister had 3 boys very easily so hopefully I shouldn't have any issues.
Good luck with TTC and I look forward to monitoring your process as we sound like we're on a similar schedule!
Take care,
Tara :)

Oh my god - I feel like I have so much to learn with all these bl)&dy abbreviations!! No worries - I will get the hang of it :)
Thank you for comments on wedding pic - we had the most amazing wedding in Bali - only 10 guests. DH (got that one!) proposed on my birthday (2 May) and we got married on 17 June, so only 6 weeks to plan the wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect though and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
Good luc to Egall and HWAB (that's abbrev for Helen :) ... a very dear friend of mine has been trying for some time after having 1 miscarriage and I will do my best to get her involved in such a nurturing forum as this one :)
Keep smiling lovely ladies and I firmly believe that good things are in store for all of us!

Hi Everyone,
Well it's great to know this thread is still active. I'm really looking forward to sharing this journey with you lovely ladies. Tara, I just got married this year too - in January. I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by.
I've just had a busy weekend surrounded by family and friends - and their associated babies. It was lovely. I've realised how much I used to pretty much ignore the bubs, or just do the token 'choochy-coo' and try to avoid much further contact, as I've always felt as though I make them cry. Fortunately, I'm pretty much over that now, expecially with everyone handing me babies continually 'for practise' - my family is so subtle - NOT! My DH is a natural though which is very cute.
Well, I suppose I'd better do some work, although I'd really prefer to think baby thoughts.
Take care!
Egall
