Question for mummies with older kiddies

hello all you wonderful mummies. I am still making my boys their lunches they are 14 & 17. one actually goes to work.
My question is at what age are you going have you stopped or going to stop making lunch for your older kiddies?

My six year old daughter told me off this morning,
"mummy, you never let me help"
I usually make her lunches
but she is perfectly able to make her own sandwiches
as a teen it was up to me to make my own lunch
SAHM or not...

I make my fiances lunches lol so I guess it doesn't really bother me if I am still making my kids lunches when they are teens hehe!

yes, my hubby has told me
i should make his lunch
like some of his mates at work
get theirs made
he would only complain
its better he takes what he would like to eat

my kids make their own lunches for school, they started when my youngest was born, just to help me out then they kept doing it without being asked!

i still make dps lunch for work

and my step son who is 15 was getting his made for him up untill a few months back when we discovered he was throwing them away so now he buys his lunch with the money he earns from working

hey ladies,

I still make all my kids lunches my oldest rod 30 still gets his lunch made..lol.. so i figure i can make the other kids lunches as long as i make his!!!! he he he:yes:

i also make my hubby's lunch too but thats because he supports my fat bum :laughing:

My mum still packs my brother lunch and he is 17 and works full time. As long as ur happy doing it I think males are generally happy eating a packed lunch from their mum until they find a gf/ fiance/ wife that may be willing to do it for them! If not then they'll eventually move out and learn themselves (or buy their lunch!!!)

I make lunches 2 times a week for school, and they do there own twice. (Order once) Even DS 7 does his own, they get upset if I do it on their days!

I let my girl order her lunch only once a term
it is considered a treat for her
as it was for me at her age

Only ever made DH lunch twice and that was because he was running late, and we've been together 14 years. The school kids we have are 8 and 6 i make their lunches.
