can anyone tell me about slapface
Its highly contagious, and not good for pregnant women, something to do with rubella. Once the rash breaks out though, its not catchy anymore I think
Slap face can last for a month or more

My goddaughter had it while I was pregnant with Jesse so I had to go and have blood tests to make sure everything was okay. When the rash is present it's no longer contagious, it's the days preceding that the virus is highly contagious.

My daughter had this when she was about 8 months old ( i think around then). She had a high fever for about 3 days and then the rash started to appear and slowly spread all over her body. She was really miserable and wasn't settled within herself. Finally the rash reached her face and gave her the flushed red cheek look. All up the rash took about 3 weeks to dissapear.
