Im writing this tonight as i wont have time tomorrow.
25th of August 2007
it was a Saturday and i was having a cleaning day as i was having a photographer come and do so pregnancy shots.
I do the vacuuming and Cleaning (dp took Hunter out for the day)
I go down the street to get Bread and Milk
i bump in a friend and he mentioned i didnt look to good
I turn around and joking say im probably labor (little did i know)
have tea , get Hunter ready for Bed, i mopped the floor
went and had a shower coz my back was killing me
and go to bed it was about 8:30 I couldnt get comfy and was having terrible Braxton Hicks
try and sleep by about 9-9:30 They where coming more frequent every 10min or so
I say to DP i thought i was in labor. I try and get some rest has i wasnt so sure
10-10:30 i get up as i was really uncomfy I jump on the puter and bounce on my fit ball
I was timing the contractions about every 5min so i continue to bounce away (it really helped)
then they start coming every 2-3mins and lasting about 30-50seconds
I though i better call the hospital they say to come in
lucky my sister lived in the next unit and where home she came over to watch DS1 as he was asleep
we get to Epping at about 12-12:30 It take me about 5 min to walk to ER from the car park
they take my details. I go up to the birthing suite.
they do the usual tests hook me up to the CGT monitor.
Yeap there really contractions ( i dont think they believed me)
They monitor me for about 1/2 and then come back saying i have to go to the Womans
so there waiting for the Ambos (which on a Saturday night are busy)
the Ambos get there about 3-3-30am the whole time i was on the CGT
I get to the woman at about 4am the 26th of August
they do the usual checks
hook me back up to the CGT (the only time i came off it was to pee)
i try and get some sleep (didnt happen)
DP gets back in at about 11am ( he went to heck on hunter and get some sleep)
the Doctor then told me i had a BU and i asked why I didnt get told before this and he presumed i had been
My parent came in while they where there the water breaks at around 3:30pm
I have a chat to on of the paeds to came up to see me and let me now what most likely would happen ect.
at this point my contractions have almost stopped with one every now and then.
im still leaking though
8:30 I try and sleep has a hadn't slept since Fri night
he starts to have some destats but hes recovering ok.
9:30-45 they nurse comes to check on me and says i might be able to come off the CGT
for a while to get some rest she goes and double checks with a doctor.
10ish the CGT starts going off I though it was coz i moved as i wss feeling quite uncomfy again
she come back look at the CGT then goes to the door and the next minute i know ever doctor and nurse are in the room
a quick internal shows im only 3cm the doctor goes we need to do a C-section and now
they grab an ultrasound machine coz they cant find the heart beat Its there but just
they pump me with Fluids as im starting to panic they ask of DPs number or my parent I cant remember i went blank.
they call a code Green and rush me in to theater.
Ive the anesthetist telling the nurse to hurry up and get me ready
and i drift off to sleep............................................. ...................................
